The Hook-up

Chapter 23

"Bruno...let's go to my house...." Rory said taking his hand as he started to pull out of the parking lot.

"I think that would be best." He answered squeezing her hand. Oh fuck. She's so hot. He thought as they pulled into the parking lot of her apartment complex. She led him upstairs pushing him against the wall kissing him harder than he had expected.

"Oh...Rory...." He gasped feeling his body tense up knowing he was doing something wrong but she kissed him so perfectly that all he could do was kiss her back. She moved her long finger nails through his hair hitting his scalp making him cringe knowing that something didn't feel right. But he kept going. He moved his arms around her waist continuing to kiss her as he led her to her bed throwing her on the bed kissing her.

"Bruno...oh my gosh." She sighed as he started to kiss her neck pushing her strapless dress down her body. He left kisses all over her moving close to her making her scream as he moved inside her. Oh...that's not right. He thought as he continued to kiss her tasting the different lip gloss on her lips. He opened his eyes looking at her head twisted to the side and her hands clinching the sheets as he moved with her. No. No. No. She means too much. I can't do this. "Bru...what's going on?" she asked him as he slowed down.

"Nothing." He said leaning down kissing the top of her head. "Nothing at all Lorelei."

"Ohhhh my goddddd....." she moaned as he finished inside her. He jumped up quickly grabbing his clothes.

"Bruno? I thought....." she looked at him confused.

"No, Rory. Just no. I was stupid. I'm sorry." He said grabbing his jacket walking toward the door.

"But you broke up with Giselle! Bruno!" Rory got up pulling him to her.

He looked down at her hand almost in tears. He didn't say anything to her just leaving closing the door behind him.

He got in the car driving as fast as he could to where he found the most peace. He walked behind the tall apartment building near the empty public beach. He threw off his jacket looking at his phone and Lauren's missed phone call. "Fucccckkkkkkkk!" he screamed squeezing his phone not sure what to do. He felt tears fall down his cheek quickly wiping them away sitting down in the sand digging his boots in the sand. "Damnit!" he yelled again picking up some big sea shells throwing them hard into the water. He continue to yell falling down on the sand laying his head down looking up at the stars holding his phone. He pressed the voicemail button waiting to hear Lauren's voice.

"Hi, baby. I miss you. Tonight was horrible without out. Please come home."

"Well shit. That made it worse." He said to himself standing up dusting off the sand walking back to his car feeling his phone vibrate.

He picked it up not caring who it was. "Dude, are you coming home or did you fuck Rory?" Ryan asked him.

"I'll be home in a few minutes." He said hanging up the phone throwing it as hard as he could toward the passenger seat hitting the carpeted door seeing his cell phone break into several pieces.
