"What did he say?" Caitlin asked stopping the car in a parking space dedicated to mothers.

"He's going to come home in a little bit." She answered.

"Is he really?" Caitlin asked.

"I think so." Lauren answered walking into the grocery store belining it to the cake. "I want all of them." She laughed standing next to her friend.

"Laur, I don't think that's a good idea." Caitlin answered.

"I don't either. I need some carrots too." She answered throwing two cakes into the cart. After shopping and carrying everything into the house Caitlin helped Lauren decide exactly what she was going to do for the next few hours before Bruno came home. "My feet are so fucking huge." She told Caitlin stretching out on a brown couch she had helped Bruno pick out in 2010.

"I don't even want to think about mine when I get pregnant..." Caitlin said with a laugh turning on the TV. "How many channels do you have? Geez." She asked flipping through the channels.

"I haven't had a chance to look, honestly. I've been so busy getting ready for Ezra and Everlee." She told her friend.

"Those are the names?" Caitlin asked in a bit of shock.

"Yeah. I think I decided a few days ago that that's what they're going to be. But I haven't decided a hundred percent on the middle names. I like Grace for her but I can't think of anything for him." She said. "Hand me the Hunger Games...they have crazy names..." Lauren asked pointing to the young adult book sitting on the coffee table. "I said I would read this..but I haven't had a chance yet..." she said.

"I like Gael..." Caitlin said. "If you spell it like G-A-E-L instead of the way it is in the book, though. Because then it'll be like Gael Garcia Bernal...it'd be pretty."

"Hmm...I like that. Everlee Grace and Ezra Gael." She said to herself several times.
"Everlee and Ezra Hernandez...." She reached for a notebook that was sitting next to her book.

"What are you doing?" Caitlin asked.

"Writing it down to see what it looks like." Lauren said showing her friend. "I think it looks perfect. But don't tell him. Because I want it to be a surprise."

"You haven't talked about names?" Caitlin asked.

"He had a really good point when I yelled at him about it." Lauren said ripping out the sheet of paper placing it in her book knowing he wouldn't touch it. "He said it didn't matter what they're named that they're going to be that name. The second it's written down that's them...forever."

"Hmm. I like that idea." Caitlin said putting on a movie. "Let's watch this..."

"Okay. That's fine." Lauren said closing her eyes trying to fall asleep. Before the movie could start, though, her eyes closed and she fell asleep. A few minutes later she felt her friend touch her hair carefully.

"Laur...I'm going to go home. The dogs ate and everything is locked. Bruno texted you and said he'd be home by 2..." Caitlin held out her hand to help her friend get up from the couch.

"He better be home soon." She moaned scratching her hair walking to the bedroom. "This house is so big without him here." She continued to ramble putting on pajamas and pulling her hair down from the ponytail she had in.

"He'll be home soon, chica." Caitlin reassured her. "Plus Geronimo is going to protect you. Right?" she asked looking at the dog sleeping on the other half of the bed.

"Yeah. He'll save me." Lauren laughed. "Good night, Cait."

"Good night, Elle. Call me tomorrow." She said walking out of the room.
