Lauren sat across a long table from her lawyer. Her lawyer was a tall skinny blonde haired blue eyed girl who must have been a model at some point in her life. She spoke with pose and could argue her way out of a parking ticket by just flashing her smile. "So, you're asking for a percentage of child support based on his earnings last year..." she pointed to the paper. "In addition to that you are asking for an undisclosed amount for housing." she pointed to the next line. "You are no asking for any spousal support, only child support." she moved the pen down to show Lauren.

"And nothing from the house, right?" Lauren asked.

"Right. Nothing from your house." Kat told her. "And your bank accounts will be seperated upon the approval of the divorce."

"Yes. That's right." she told her lawyer. "And he gets the kids when he is home for more than two weeks." she paused reading the paper eying a note about significant others. "Not present at exchange but allowed in presence." she read out loud.

"Are you okay with that? You didn't say anything about that when we talked last time." Kat asked.

"It's fine. I think. I just need to be a football field away from that bitch. For my own good." Lauren said unapolgeticly.

"I know, Lauren. We're doing our best to keep her away from them." Kat answered. "It's tough, legally, though. Unless you file a restraining order. And I don't think we have any legal basis for that."

"I've thought about it, a lot. I know I don't like her. I never will. But if they're going to stay together I have to tolerate her somewhat." she sighed reluctantly. "It's the only thing I can do. And he has to do the same with whoever I end up with." she said frowning.

"Have y'all talked?" Kat asked changing the subject to Wes.

"A little. But more about this than anything. He wants to make sure everything is okay. He said he would come to court if I needed someone to be there with me. But, I think I will be okay. I have my sister and everything." Lauren answered. "Plus he was right. I do need to think about where I am now."

"Well, that's okay. Both of you will find the right people." Kat said returning to the conversation about the paperwork. "And we'll get someone to get these papers to him in Texas."

"Yes. He knows they are coming. He's not sure when or where though." Lauren told her.

"And you know where he will be?" Kat answered.

"Yes. I know exactly where he'll be." she said handing her an address. "And if you can't find him there call this number and he'll tell you where he is."

Bruno stepped away from the group he was with for a second to reach for his cigarette. "Look! Bro!" Ryan yelled pulling him back from his moment of piece hours before his performance.

"What?" Bruno asked a bit annoyed then smiling at the giant cow that stood a few feet away from them. He burst out laughing trying to figure out exactly what he was looking at. "I just don't get it." he said to his band mates with a laugh. They continued along their small tour of the Houston rodeo eating really horrible food and even riding a few rides completely forgetting about anything and everything that was going on in their lives. It was how it was supposed to be before a show, all about the show. After eating he returned to a small dressing room to change and meet with several high ranking Texans and students who he would be performing for later that night. As he was putting on his hat to return to the festivities he herd a knock on the door. It was a somewhat unfamiliar knock. "Hang on. Give me a second, please." he said politely. The knock stopped and he opened the door to see a girl standing in front of him with a manila envelope covered with a white sheet of paper.

"Mr. Hernandez?" the lady asked.

"That's my dad." he joked a little not sure who it was.

"I need your signature, Mr. Hernandez." she said handing him the paper seeing the title of the paper State of California with his name below certifying that he had received legal documents.

"Oh. Okay." he said jolted out of his pre-show euphoria. He signed the paper and the girl started to turn around. "Thank you." he said as she walked away. He closed the door behind him turning off the music he had on. He read over the papers, We Peter Gene Hernandez and Lauren Marie Hernandez have signed to dissolve the marriage agreement that was attested and validated on June 9, 2012. Both parties have agreed to the following....he sat in the car reading over all the things she demanded. He ran his fingers over the papers unsure of how to react to everything that he had just read. He clutched the papers to his chest leaning back closing his eyes feeling the tears fall down his cheek. Not yet, Lauren. I'm not ready.
