They laid in the bed a little longer talking about getting married and the things that she wanted to do before the day.
"Bruno...what are we going to name the babies?" she asked him still laying in the bed with him. "I liked Everlee."
"Then I like Everlee too." He answered sitting up to get his shoes reaching for his phone to see how many missed calls he had. She grabbed the phone from him putting it down.
"I'm not asking you to decide on our children's lives right now but a little help with names would be nice." She told him watching his body tense. Shit. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She handed the phone back to him taking her phone from the table seeing her texts. "We have time to talk about it." She flipped through her phone trying to see how many texts and phone calls she had. Bruno sat down in the cushy chair listening to his mother yell at him even though she knew exactly what happened from his younger sister. As he listened to his messages Lauren dialed her father who had left a lengthy message asking her to explain herself. "Dad!" she called trying not to sound frustrated by his anger.
"Lauren. I am coming to get you. I am at the airport. You can't see him anymore. I don't know what happened, but I'm not supporting this anymore."
"We're getting married while we're here." She told him not arguing with him.
"Oh?" her father asked echoing her sense of sarcasm.
"You don't know what happened. I made the mistake this time. He didn't do anything. He didn't do anything to me...we're fine."
"Lauren Marie Holt. You are making a mistake." He told her.
"It's my mistake to make. It's not yours to keep me from making." She snapped back at him.
"Okay. You just tell me when I need to be there to walk you down the aisle." He said to her.
"I don't know if I want you to, Dad." Lauren answered. "If you don't support it then I don't want you here." She pulled the phone away from her ear sniffing away the tears she hadn't cried since she told her father that she was pregnant. Bruno sat down next to her putting his arm around her shoulder holding her tightly as her father tried to convince her to come home and leave Bruno. "Okay, dad. I need to go. I'm sorry." She said ending the call throwing her body into Bruno's as she continued to cry.
"Babby...it'll be okay." He sang to her quietly. "It will be okay." He said holding her for a few minutes hearing a knock on their door.
"Open the door, bro." he heard Eric say.
"Go..." Lauren said standing up to make sure she didn't look like too big of a mess.
Bruno opened the door pulling his brother into the room. "What is going on?" Eric asked.
"We just had a fight. It was normal, except everyone saw it." Bruno told him.
"So you're okay? Nothing happened?" he asked. "Y'all kind of just disappeared after she dropped you off here..."
"It was a few hours. We're fine." Bruno said hearing several voices on the other side of the door, his sisters.
"Open the door. We have clothes for Lauren." Presley yelled.
Eric leaned over to open the door. "Where is she?" Tiara asked with Tahiti and her sons dragging in more bags.
"Right here..." she said fixing her hair with one of the hair ties she had left behind.
"Here, mama...put this on. We bought you some make-up too.." Tiara told her handing her the bags.
"Come with me..." she pulled his sisters in the large bathroom with her.
"Are you okay?" Tahiti asked. "I wasn't sure if I should leave you two..."
"We were fine until we turned on our phones." Lauren said sitting down on a chair to put on the make-up they had bought her. "My dad called and he got super upset. He said that he isn't going to support us."
"Oh, honey..." Tahiti said sitting next to her.
"Oh. And we're getting married while we're here." She said turning around to see their reactions.
"What? Oh my god!" Presley said hugging her. "I knew it would happen!"
"But your father...."Tiara asked. "That's why you left. Oh, Lauren...I'm sorry..." Tiara said hugging Lauren who started to cry.
"I just don't get it..." she paused. "Well, no. I get it. He hates that Bruno is successful now and that he didn't get the chance to capitalize on it. Bruno is so over it, but my dad just hangs onto it." Lauren told them trying not to cry.
"Lauren..." Tahiti sat down next to her. "He'll come around. My dad took forever to love Josh. I mean, well. Now it's another story. But then...."
"Thank you." Lauren tried to smile. "I'll try."
"Come on. We have so many new clothes for you." Presley said opening the bathroom door. "Let's go!"
Lauren wobbled out of the room to see Bruno and Eric sitting on the floor eating complimentary popcorn flipping through the TV to find a movie.
"I can't stand that smell." Lauren said bending down to take some popcorn.
"I know." Bruno smirked.
"So....you two want to get married?" Eric asked them. Lauren nodded her head trying to swallow the popcorn that she was eating.
"Before we leave." She got out.
"Then we gotta get movin'!" one of his sisters blurted out.
"Can we do it tomorrow?" Lauren yawned.
"No!" Presley exclaimed reaching for a laptop that was out. "We have to find your dress."
"Oh god." Everyone said in unison.
