Chapter 12

"Y-yeah...I-I'm ok. It was just a nightmare, that's all." I was breathing heavily, that was all way to real.

Maka sighed in relief that nothing physical happened to me. She came and sat next to me, trying to comfort me.

"What was the nightmare about..?" I began to cry, recalling the nightmare. Maka eyes softened and rubbed my back, comforting me. I continued to sob.

"I...I was outside," I manage between sobs, "a-and it was a-a beautiful day."

"Ok."

"Th-then it got d-dark," I sobbed more, "a-and my d-dad came." Maka got extremely worried.

"Yes?"

"He...he h-hurt m-me a-a lot, and left me the the b-bleed to death." I sobbed even more. Maka hugged me.

"Shh," she rubbed my back while hugging me, "it was just a bad dream."

Soul eventually heard the commotion and came to see what was wrong. Maka explained everything to him.

"That's just horrible." He said in shock.

It was 6:00 in the morning. School would start in an hour. Maka looked at the clock and realized the time. She released me from the hug and smiled a bit.

"C'mon. Ill go make breakfast."

Maka made pancakes. We all ate for a bit, then got ready for school. All I did was brush my teeth and hair. Maka had an extra toothbrush and let me use her hairbrush. I didn't have any different close to change into. Honesty, I was fine with that because my dress covered my bandages.

Soon we left for school. We walked there. The DWMA wasn't that far from Maka and Soul's apartment. I hummed as we walked.

In about fifteen minutes we got there. I walked up the steps that lead to the door. I heard some one yelling at another person. I walked over to where I heard the yelling.

It was a pink-haired boy, yelling at something on his back. It looked like a person, though at the same time it didn't.

I walked up to him. When I reached him, the black thing noticed me and disappeared into the boy's back.

"Uhhh," I say, not understanding, "y-you ok...?"

"H-huh?" He turned around and looked at me.

"Are you ok?" I repeated myself.

"Y-yeah."

"O-ok."

"W-well I-I'm C-Crona...Wh-who are y-you..?" Crona asked in a shy tone.
