Chapter 31

"Yeah." I smile.

"Good."

"Time for class." We walked to class and took our seats.

Another dissection. I sigh. Crona and I talked, not really listening to Stein.

Class let out and Crona and I sat on the entrance steps.

"I'm so bored!" I complain.

"Want to take a walk?" Crona suggested.

"Ok." I smile and stand up. We walked around Death City, holding hands.

"You hungry?" Crona asked after a bit of walking.

"Yeah." We headed to the small bakery in the little shopping area. We ate and began to walk again. We walk back to the DWMA. We went to Crona's room.

"We must have walked everywhere." I sat down on his bed.

"Yeah." He chuckled.

"I'm so tired." I fell backwards on his bed.

"Then get some sleep." He smiled at me.

"Ok." I slowly fell asleep, there on Crona's bed.

I woke up in the middle of the night. I looked over and saw Crona asleep next to me. I smiled and kissed his head. I pulled out a small notebook and pencil and wrote: Going back to Maka and Soul's. See ya in the morning! Love you! ~Haley. I set the note next to him and left.

I walked back to Maka and Soul's cautiously. My dad could attack me at any time.

I made it back to Maka and Soul's safely. I opened the door quietly and slipped in. I laid down on couch. I saw Blair on the back of the couch.

"It's the middle of the night. Where've you been?" She asked and giggled.
