Chapter 22

"It's a book on the Soul Binder...

"Oh?"

"Yeah. I don't know...I bought it because I wasn't sure what is would say about the Soul Binder."

"Hm..I think I'll let you read. I'm going to go to my room."

"Ok."

I read the book all night. It gave information about the Soul Binder that any ordinary person would think was just another fairy tale.

I eventually fell asleep. I was still sitting up when I did. I slept peacefully, again no nightmares.

I woke up at five 'o clock. An hour earlier than I normally do. I sighed and laid down when I realized I was sitting on the couch legs crossed. The Soul Binder, the book, was open and in my lap. I closed it and set it on the table.

I woke up again at six. We did the normal morning routine. Eat, hair, teeth. I sighed.

Once we all finished getting ready we headed to school. I read as we walked. I didn't finish The Soul Binder last night. It's not like I would, there as at least five hundred pages.

We got to the school. I was still reading as we walked to class. I accidentally bumped into someone and fell down.

"I-I'm sorry!" I apologized as I stood up.

"It-it's o-ok..." I had bumped into Crona. Then Ragnarok came out of his back.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Ragnarok shouted.

"H-hey! D-don't yell at Haley like that!" Crona yelled back.

"She ran into you! Aren't you going to do something about that?!"

"She's m-my friend!"

"Hmp! Whatever!" Ragnarok crossed his arms and went back into Crona's back.

"S-sorry about Ragnarok..."

"It's ok, Crona."

"O-ok."

Black*Star and Soul walked up to us.

"Hey, we're going to play basketball after school. Wanna join us?" Soul asked.
