Chapter 17

"Yeah, that's ok."

I fell back asleep. I didn't have nightmares this time either. That was good.

Soon enough it was time to get up. I sit up and rubbed my eyes. I looked at the clock, six 'o'clock.

Maka and Soul woke up and we had out morning routine. Eat, hair, teeth.

I sighed and finished brushing my teeth. After I washed my brush, I walked out of the bathroom and went to the door.

"I'll wait outside for you guys!" I called out.

"Ok!" Maka yelled back. I opened the door and closed it behind me.

I walked down the first couple of steps that led to the door, then sat down on the fourth step. It was nice out today. I looked around at the trees and plants. Yeah, it was defiantly a beautiful day.

I began to hum to myself. Why do I always hum? It's like a bad habit...

Eventually Maka and Soul were ready and walked out if the apartment. I stood up and we walked to the academy.

It only took fifteen minutes to get there, just like last time.

We arrived at the DWMA and I saw Crona on the front steps.

"Hey Crona."

"H-hey Haley."

We all walked to class together. When I walked in I saw a blue-haired boy standing on my desk and yelling at the top of his lungs.

"I AM THE ALMIGHTY BLACK*STAR!!!" Everyone looked annoyed and tried to ignore him. I walked up to my desk.

"Can you get down?" I asked Black*Star.

"WHY SHOULD THE MIGHTY BLACK*STAR LISTEN TO YOU!?"

"Because that's my desk." Then Tsubaki walked up to me.

"I'm sorry about Black*Star, Haley." She apologized.

"You know her, Tsubaki?" Black*Star asked her.

"Yeah, I met her in the hall. Now, would you get down!?" Black*Star eventually climbed down.

Class started and, again, we had another dissection. Crona sat next to me and Maka and Soul sat with Black*Star and Tsubaki. Everyone looked sick by the end of class.

It was finally time for lunch. Maka and Soul walked over to Crona and me. Eventually Black*Star and Tsubaki walked over to us.

"Want to eat lunch with us?" Maka asked.
