Chapter 37

"This is Aiden. Aiden this is Crona." I said.

"Hey." Aiden said

"Hi..."

"Well-uhm-I better go now. Have to go to the library." Aiden said and left.

Crona and I walked in the bakery, ate, and left. We walked around the city, holding hands. We went to the park and sat under a tree.

"Hey Haley?"

"Yes?"

"I love you."

"I love you too." I smiled and kissed him. After a few he walked me to the apartment.

"Night Crona! See you in the morning."

"Night Haley." He hugged me before turning around and going back to the DWMA.

I went inside, closing the door behind me. Maka was sitting on the couch, reading a book. She looked up from her book when she heard the door close.

"Oh hey Haley."

"Hey Maka."

"We were going to order out again, that ok?"

"Yeah."

"Alright." Maka hopped off the couch, going over to the phone.

Maka ordered pizza for us. After a while the pizza came and we all ate.

"I'm stuffed." Soul said.

"Same here." I say.

"Alright." Maka stood up, picking up the box, and putting the left overs in the fridge. Soul went to his room, and after a bit, Maka went to hers. I went over the the couch, laying down and drifting to sleep. I had another nightmare.

I was sitting in a room. My room, in my house. What was I doing here?

"Crona isn't always going to be there..." My father's voice rang in my head.

"YES HE WILL!" I yelled at his voice.

"You sure about that?" He laughed.

"I-I."

"Sorry my little Haley."

I sat up and tried not to cry after that nightmare. I got up off the couch, running to Crona again.

I stopped in the middle of the street, coughing, and out of breath. I dropped to my knees, covering my mouth with my hands. I wasn't really crying, just a few tears rolled down my cheeks every now and again. I just wanted to see Crona.

"Hello Haley."

"C-Crona..?" Looks like my wish came true. Crona stepped out of his place in the shadows, smiling insanely.

"Yes it's me Haley."

"A-Are you ok.....?"

"Never been better." He continued to smile insanely. I noticed he has Ragnarok in sword form.

"C-Crona....what are you d-doing?!"

"I talked with your dad." My eyes widened.

"Crona! Please! Don't!" I screamed, tears welling in my eyes.

"I'm sorry, Haley." He laughed, raising his sword to strike me. I shut my eyes tight, scared of what may happen. Then he did it, he hit me. Crona sliced my neck, causing me to cough up blood.

"CRONA!" I scream in pain.

"H-Haley?!" Crona screamed, coming back to his senses. "I-I'm so sorry!!!" He cried, holding me close to him again. "I'm so so so so so so sorry!!!"

"C-Crona..?"

"Yes..?!"

"Can you do one last thing for me..?"

"Of course!"

"Tell everyone thank you for being my friend. And Crona?"

"Yes?"

"Th-Thank you m-most of all. F-for c-caring about m-me and l-loving me." My voice was a harsh whisper. I sat up a bit, trying to kiss him one last time, but before I could do anything, I fell to the ground, dead.

And all I wanted to was give Crona
