Chapter 23

"I-I don't know how...." I said.

"We can teach you!" Black*Star said. The rest of the gang walked up to us.

"It will be fun!" Patty giggled.

"O-ok..."

"Yay!" Patty giggled again.

"Will you come with us, Crona?" Tsubaki asked.

"I-I guess."

After that we walked to class. Class began and we had, yet, another dissection.

Class was soon over and we headed to the basketball court. I still didn't know how to play.

We arrived at the court. Everyone started to gather around.

"Because Haley doesn't know how to play, she can sit and watch for the first round." Soul said.

"But what about Crona? He still doesn't know how to play that well." Black*Star said.

"Crona can sit out with Haley." Soul said.

"But then we would have an odd number," Kid shivered and continued, "seven."

"I can referee." Tsubaki suggested.

"Alright." Soul said. Everyone got ready to play. Black*Star, Patty, and Kid were on one team, Black*Star as the captain. Liz, Maka, and Soul were on the other, Soul as the captain.

Crona and I sat down on the nearby benches. We watched as they played. Maka was freaking out about it. She couldn't play that well, but she knew enough to play.

"Wh-what are they doing..?" I ask Crona.

"I-I'm not r-really sure..."

We continued to watch them, not knowing what was going on, or who was winning.

Eventually the game ended.

"Yes!" Black*Star shouted. "We won!"

"Yeah, whatever." Soul said.

"C'mon Soul! Don't be such a bad sport." Tsubaki said.

Black*Star looked over at Crona and I, "So you guys going to join us or not?" He asked us. .
