Why did it have to be Dwarves?

~ Serena's POV ~

"Dwarves!," I exclaimed.

"Yes, Dwarves they are quite a merry gathering," he said.

"I don't care if there a merry gathering, you know I don't like Dwarves!" I said frustrated.

"The only question I can ask you is: yes or no?," He said. I thought about this and made up my mind.

"Yes," said quietly.

"What's that? I can't hear you?," He said teasingly.

"Yes! I said yes," I spoke through gritted teeth.

"Excellent," he said as he clapped his hands once and leaned back in his saddle, "now we have a protector!"

"When do I start?" I asked eggar to start.

"You have 2 days to get to the Shire where are burglar for the quest will be. Go to the Bagend part of the Shire and look for the Dwarven rune on the door. I will met you there."

"Ok, but on two conditions : one, don't give away my true name, and two, I will tell them the truth when it is time."

"Deal," he said.

"Good-bye, Gandalf!"

"Good-bye, Serena!"

I ran to my house and grabbed some important things : my sketchbook, pencils, a locket of my parents, hairbrush, and extra clothes.

I put them into a backpack and made sure I had everything I needed.

I changed into my horse form and trotted away into the woods.

So, I guess I wouldn't hurt to tell you about myself. Well I'm a skin-changer and I can change into 3 different animals. A dragon, horse, and wolf.

Now my horse is black and is a regular size for a horse. I have long wavy black hair with a blue streak in it. In the mane and tail. I also have a mark on my shoulder that has swirls and dots. it's an electric blue color.

In my dragon form I'm bigger than a horse but not by that much. My scales are a dark purple and is very majestic. I have the same mark that is on my horse on my dragon behind my eye.

In my wolf form I am pure white and have the mark behind my eye like my dragon's. I also have blue eyes that stand out against my white fur. My size in wolf form is the size of a warg, but very different.

Apparently the marking is like an identification for skin-changer, so they know it's you. my mom's was dots and my dad's was a swirl.

As for my regular human appearance I'm medium in height like a Dwarf. I have black hair that goes to the middle of my back with a blue streak. I also have tan skin. I have blue eyes and I'm said to be pretty by Gandalf, but I don't believe that.

I like to sketch and of course fight orcs. when I draw it takes me to a different word where I can do what I want.

I have a favorite pair of knee high leather boots that are water proof. Which is really nice. I usually wear brown or black pants with a blouse with a light brown leather corset on top of the blouse.
