~Kili's POV~

I woke up and looked down on my chest. Serena was still sleeping peacefully.

I thought about last night and how she said that I was hers. That made me smile but soon that smile faded.

Beorn soon walked in and he saw me.He looked at the sight that laid before him.

"Do you love her?" He asked me with a gruff voice.

I looked at him surprised and I didn't know what to say.

"Well, do you love her?" He said getting angrier.

"I do," I said looking him straight in the eye.

"What makes you think a dwarf like you could have my daughter!" He said getting louder.

I looked down at Serena and she was begging to move around.

"Because I love her more than anything in the world!" I say looking him in the eye again.

Now her eyes were open and her eyes widened.

"Father, I can explain!" She said sitting up.

"Why does this dwarf think he can have you!" He said gesturing to me.

~Serena's POV~

"Father please don't hurt him!" I screamed. he picked Kili up and dragged him outside.

"Father!" I screamed at him.

He still didn't listen and kept pulling the struggling Kili to the field. He stopped and was about to punch Kili in the face.

I shifted into my wolf form and tackled him. I didn't hurt him I just tackled him.

I stood by Kili and growled at my father.

I shifted into my human form and stood between him and Kili.

"I love him! And you can not stop that! I love you to but you can't keep me to yourself!" I said as tears started to come down my face.

All of the dwarves heard everything even Kili's confession. (I was awake to hear it.)

My fathers anger disappeared and was flooded with guilt.

"I'm sorry." he managed to say in a low voice.

He then looked at Kili and his face turned serious.

"If you hurt my daughter I will hunt you down and kill you! You understand?" He said still a little angry.

"Yes, sir," Kili said frightened.

I ran up and hugged my father. He hugged me back and whispered, "If that dwarf does mistreat you in any way I will not hesitate to kill!" I giggled into his shirt and smiled.

My father soon walked off to do some wood chopping and the rest of the dwarves left to do their business.

I sighed and felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see Kili and I smiled a small smile.

"I'm sorry." I said quietly.

"Do not be sorry my love," he said wiping my tears away with his thumb.

I put one of my hands on top of his and leaned into his touch.

There was something coming out of the tree line and I whipped around.

It was Saphira and she galloped over to me. She whinnied and almost made me fall to the ground because she smashed her head against my chest.

I laughed and looked at Kili. He was starring at me but not at my eyes.

"Hey!" I said.

"Oh, what? I'm sorry!" He said blushing and looking at the ground.

Saphira pulled away and stood so her rump was at my back.

Once Kili looked up Saphira hit her rump against my back.

I was slammed into Kili and we fell to the ground together. I fell on top of him and I pushed off of his chest. I threw a glance at Saphira and she trotted off probably going to find Bilbo.

I looked back to Kili to see he was smirking. I looked around and nobody was looking.

I looked back to him and tried to get off of him. He looped his arms around my waist and had another death grip on me.

I rolled my eyes and stopped trying to get free from him.

"What do you want?" I asked him slightly annoyed.

"To do something." Kili said casually.

"Like what?" I said slowly knowing he was up to something.

"This!" He said.

He pulled me so hard my arms gave out and we kissed. I was surprised at first but then closed my eyes. I melted into the kiss and Kili's arms tightened around me.

There was the whistle and we bath broke apart and turned our heads to see Dwalin, Bufor, Fili, and Balin staring at us with smiles on their faces.

I quickly clambered off of Kili to watch as the 4 dwarves exchange bags of money. They betted on wether me and Kili were going to kiss or not!

I looked down and blushed madly.

They all started to laugh and Kili muttered something about why wasn't he surprised that his brother was in on this.
