We ran as fast as we could. Tears were still blurring my eyes and my vision was blurry.

It couldn't be him! No!

We ran and ran till I could see a house in the distance.

"Hurry to the house!" Gandalf yelled. To my surprise me and Bombur were in the lead.

We got to the door of the house and I unlocked the latch.

I ran in as the Dwarves did. As they were shouting the door the beasts big head came through the crack in the door.

I gasped and realized that that had to be him.

I began to back up and Kili rushed to my side.

"Serena what is it? Are you ok?" I shook my head and cried.

One of the dwarves was at the door and said, "I think he went away!"

"Back away from there! It's not natural none of it! It's obvious he's under some dark spell!" Gloin shouted.

"Then what does that make me?" I shout at them and started to sob again.

"He is not under some dark spell. He is he and is no different. His name is Be-" Gandalf began.

"No! Don't you dare say his name! He died in the goblins cave!" I screamed at him.

"But Serena it is him." Gandalf said.

I looked at the door and made my way to it.

I was about to open it when someone pulled me back.

I whipped around and saw Kili was the one trying to hold me back.

"I'm not letting you go out there! He could kill you!" Kili explained.

"Kili, so help me if you make me part from him a second longer I will hurt you!" I screamed at me.

I tried to pull away but he wouldn't let go.

"Kili!" I scream at him.

"Who is he?" He shouted at me with anger.

"My father!" I scream at him.

He was to shocked by the answer that I had time to pull away from his grip.

I ran out the door before closing it behind me rather loudly.

I could hear Kili banging on the door and yelling my name.

I turned around and looked around. He had to be here.

I suddenly jumped when he appeared from behind a tree.

We stared at each other until we recognized each other.

He dropped to his knees and started to cry.

I ran to him and hugged him.

"Serena!"

"Dad!"

We were both crying and for a while we sat there hugging each other.

"I thought you were dead!" I said to my long lost father.

"I escaped from that horrid place and have been looking for you ever since!" He cried.

"Oh, how I missed you father!"

He pulled me away and began examining me.

"You're still short like aways!" He says with a little laugh.

"Ya!" I said laughing with him.

"I see you have all you're weapons and cloak!" He said as he touched the cloak and his eyes started to tear up again.

"Don't cry, please! We should be rejoicing, father!" I said to wanting to see him crying anymore.

"I know." he said in a small whisper.

He hugged me again but pulled me back again and asked, "Can you shift?"

"I thought you'd never ask!" I said with a smile.

"But father, I know this sounds crazy, but I can turn into 3 animals." I said.

"What?!" My father said confused.

"I know I was hoping you would know something about it." I said.

"I have no idea dear. I'm sorry. But you're my special shifter." he said with a smile.

"Now what animals can you turn into?" He asked rubbing his hands together eager to know.

"Now, now father it would t be fun if I just told you would it?" I said with a smirk.

He huffed and said, "Fine!"

I walked a few paces away and began to shift into my dragon form.

He was wowed and I put my head down for him to touch. His fingers moved onto my face as he smiled.

I got back to the spot I shifted in and shifted into my horse form.

I trotted over and let him stroke my mane. I tossed my head up and down and that made him laugh.

I then trotted back and changed into my wolf form. I still didn't trust my wolf form do I stayed where I was. My father understood and I changed back into my regular form.

I walked over and he was grinning ear to ear.

"Now that's my little girl!" He said.

I rolled my eyes and started to yawn.

"Go to bed little one. I will take the watch." he said.

I gave him one last hug and ran to the door.

I turned around when I got there and he was in his bear form. I smiled and opened the door.

15 pairs of feet jumped up and I sighed.
