~Serena's POV~

I woke up and last nights events came in my mind.

I smiled and it felt like his lips were still on mine.

I went out on the balcony. It must be around 7 in the morning judging by the sun.

I heard a knock on the door.

I walked over to it and opened it. Kili and Fili stood there. They looked down at the floor immediately.

I was so confused. Then I realized I was still in the white shirt and the black shorts I wore to bed.

The white shirt was a little see through so I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Good morning, boys." I said.

"Good morning," they said.

"Thorin told us to wake you and tell you we're leaving in an hour." Fili explained.

"Got it." I said.

They left and I got ready.

Thankfully it was only them who showed up. It would have been horrible if it was Dwalin or Thorin or any other Dwarves!

I got dressed into a white shirt with a light brown leather corset on top. I put on black pants and put on my lucky knee high brown leather boots. I put my cloak on over my outfit and strapped my weapons on.

I left my room and jogged down to the meeting place.

I looked out into the field and thought about Saphira. I told her to not follow us up the Pass in the mountains we were taking because it was to dangerous for her.

I told her to go around the mountain and meet us there.

When I was thinking about all of this I was unaware that someone was sneaking up on me.

"Serena!" They screamed and shook me.

I screamed and drew my sword and put the tip on the persons chest.

"Woah! It's just me Serena!" Kili said while putting his hands in the air.

I quickly put my sword away and hugged him.

"I could've killed you!" I said.

"Well now we're even!" He said rubbing my back.

I pulled away and smirked.

"What?" Kili asked.

"Well at least I protect myself and don't fall on my butt." I said.

Bifur, Fili, and some other Dwarves burst into laughter and Kili blushed.

"That's it!" Kili said jokingly. He picked me up so I was slung over his shoulder and started to walk away.

"Help me!" I say laughing.

I start to pound on his back, but he doesn't put me down.

Fili shrugged his shoulder and went back to what he was doing.

When we were out of sight Kili put me down and we were in a sort of a dome type thing that had a view of the valley.

"Wow! This is beautiful!" I say awed.

"But not as beautiful as you." Mili said as his hands snaked around my waist.

I put my hands on his and he put his head in the crook of my neck.

This moment was perfect.

"Kili?"

"Yes?"

"If your Thorin's nephew then aren't you a prince?"

"Yes. Why?"

"Why would you like a girl like me? I mean you should be with princesses and stuff."

He turned me around and looked me in the eye.

"When you love someone you don't care about their tittles. You care about who they are that you love." he said.

"Y-you love me?" I asked with a shaky voice.

"Yes. I love you more than anything in the world, Serena." He said.

"Do you love me?" He asked with scared words.

I knew the answer I just couldn't say it.

So I kissed him instead.

The kiss was full of compassion and love. We had to pull back for air.

"Does that answer your question?" I asked him.

He just laughed and nodded.

I suddenly turned scared.

"What will Thorin say?" I ask him with scared words.

He put his hand on my cheek and said, "I don't care what Thorin says. If he does not accept this then I will still love you."

I smiled and kissed him again. I heard our names being called and I groaned into the kiss.

I pulled back and grabbed his hand.

"Come on lover boy!"

He laughed and we ran hand in hand to the company. When they all saw us holding hands one of them did the whistle.

I blushed and let go of his hand.

I walked over to Gandalf and looked up to see him smiling.

I blushed even more and shifted into my wolf form.

When we were making our way up the mountain I was in the back.

Dwalin gave me a couple stink eyes on the way.

I ignored him and kept on moving. Bilbo and I stopped to look at Rivendell on last time.

"Master Baggins and miss Serena I suggest you keep up." Thorin yelled at us.
