~Serena's POV~

I woke up to the bustling of dwarves and opened my eyes.

It was almost noon and we slept in.

I looked to my side to see that Kili was still there. I got some smirks from the dwarves and blushed.

I didn't want to wake him so I sat up slowly. I then realized that his arms were still around my waist.

I looked up to find Fili standing there smirking wildly. I gave him a come-and-help-me look, but he smiled and walked away.

Great.

I guess I moved around to much because Kili pulled me closer causing me to fall onto his chest.

He woke up with a start and was confused by my hair that was in his face.

"I'm sorry." I said tucking my hair behind my ear. I tried to get off of him but he still had a death grip on me.

"I just want to know why you were on top of me?" He said with a sly smile.

I blushed and told him that he had a death grip on me.

He quickly let go of me and we both blushed madly.

Saphira woke up with all the commotion and was giving me a look.

Once we were all ready to go Gandalf and Thorin led the way.

Kili and Saphira both traveled at my side.

'You know you could ride me.' Saphira said.

'I don't know how to ride a horse though.' I said to her.

'That's ok. I don't know how to ride with a rider on my back.' she said.

'You sure?' I asked her.

'Yes.' she responded.

She stopped and bowed for me to get on her.

I got on her and once she started to get up I gasped and held on to her neck.

Kili looked surprised do he walked beside me to make sure I didn't fall.

After a while I got comfortable and let go of her neck. I instead grabbed her mane.

It was weird riding a horse. Plus I didn't have a saddle so it was hard to stay on right.

I looked down at Kili who was beaming a smile at me.

"This is fun!" I said to him.

"I'm glad you like it." he said.

Every once in a while I'll check in to see if Saphira's ok.

After a while I got off to give her a break. I told her to stop and I was about to jump down when Kili stepped I front of me.

He put his hands on my hips and I put mine on his shoulders. he lifted me up with ease and set me down in the ground.

I smiled at him and he smiled back.

Soon it was night and I could tell that there was orcs around.

We were hiding in a few rocks and we sent Bilbo to investigate. It felt like there was something else around here but I was interrupted by the sound of Bilbo's feet.

"The orcs are a few leagues away but there's something-" Bilbo began.

"What, did they see you?" One of them asked.

"No, but there is-" Bilbo started.

"Did they catch your sent?" One asked.

Everyone started to make noise and deciding on something Bilbo didn't even say yes to.

I whistled loudly and they stopped.
They all turned and looked at me.

"Listen to Bilbo, please." I said with anger.

I nodded to Bilbo and he nodded back.

"As I was saying before, there is something else out there." Bilbo said.

I knew I wasn't wrong!

"What form did it take? A bear?" Gandalf asked him.

Form?

"Yes! A bear! Wait, how do you know that?" Bilbo asked.

"You knew about a beast and didn't tell us!" Gloin said with anger.

Gandalf nodded slowly and looked at me.

"Sometimes he's a big bear and sometimes he's a strong bear." Gandalf said slowly.

I backed away slowly and I'll of my memories came back to me.

"No, no, no!" I said to him.

I'll the dwarves looked at me but I was only focused on Gandalf.

"No! It's not true!" I yelled at him.

"Serena, please. it's true." Gandalf said.

Thorin was to impatient and ignored me. Tears were welling up in my eyes and Kili was trying to calm me. Saphira was also worried about me and came to my side closer.

"Is he friend or foe?" Thorin asked him.

"Neither. He will either try to kill us or help us." Gandalf said his eyes still on me.

"What choice do we have?" Thorin asked him.

A roar erupted through the woods. I knew I shouldn't try to reason with the person they were talking about because he probably wouldn't recognize me. Saphira bolted from the ear splitting roar scared out of her mind.

"None!" Gandalf said.

And we fled with tears blurring my eyes.
