As his gaze turns to me a shuffle around.
"The Lone Rider. No one has tied with my son like that before." he said distastefully.
He then walks over to me and examines me.
"You are no elf, dwarf, or man. Then what are you?" He asks.
I put my head down indicating that I won't answer him.
"Can you be a wizard?... No you would be taller. Tell me," he told me.
When I was still silent he harshly took hold of my chin.
"You will tell me one way or another!" He says dangerously.
When he took hold of my chin Thorin was about to rush to my side, but was held back by the guard.
"Take him to the dungeons!" Thranduil shouts.
As he was being pulled away from me Thranduil took his hand away from my chin.
"Such a pretty thing," he said while slapping me across the face with so much force I fell.
"SERENA!" Thorin said from behind me.
I felt tears forming, but I replaced them with anger. My breathing was heavy as I looked up at him with a bold new face.
"I will not tell you!" I screamed at him.
"Very well," Thranduil said with anger, "Legolas!" He screamed.
He blonde came in a few moments later with me still on the floor and looking at Thranduil with boldness.
"Take her to the dungeons!" Thranduil says as he whips around and walks away to his throne.
I am still on the floor still shocked that he slapped me.
"Come," Legolas said in a soothing voice.
He helped me up off the floor and led me out of the throne room.
"I'm truly sorry about my father," he said in an apologetic tone.
I was still silent and kept walking.
'One foot in front of the other.' I kept telling myself.
We walked in silence till he led me down a corridor and down some steps.
We soon reached the dungeons and I could hear the rants of the dwarves.
"Let us out of here!" Dwalin screamed.
I came around the corner and came into the view of the dwarves. Dwalin stopped banging on his cell door.
"Serena?" He asked unsurely.
"Serena?" Kili said a little louder rushed to his door.
Once Kili saw me and we locked eyes he shouted, "Serena!" And started to bang on his cell door forcefully.
All the dwarves began to shout my name and welcome me back. They soon quieted as they saw my eyes dead set on Kili.
I ran toward Kili and stuck my hand inside the cell. Our fingers intertwined and I looked deep into his eyes.
I saw relief flood through those dark hazel eyes.
I then realize that Legolas was behind me and he would have to put me in a cell.
I turned around with Kili's hand still intertwined with mine. I saw him standing by the entrance of the dungeons. He had a small sad smile printed on his elven face.
He stepped forwards with the keys and I looked at the ground. When I put my head to the ground I caught Kili frowning out of the corner of my eye.
The elf unlocked Kili's cell door and as soon as he opened it I ran inside. Kili and I embraced and held each other tight like there was no tomorrow.
We then pulled back and by then I had tears of joy flowing down my cheeks.
His hands were placed on my face as he caressed it. He then moved my hair out of my face revealing the red mark from Thranduil.
"Did they do this to you?" He asked angrily.
I placed my hand on his hand and looked at the ground to the side. He got tense and he was about to blow.
~Kili's POV~
My blood boiled with anger as I saw her reaction to my question.
I then looked to the elf in the doorway of my cell.
I gently moved her to the side and stepped up to the blonde elf.
"Did you do this to her?" I asked incredibly angered.
The elf opened his mouth to speak but I did not let him answer.
My fist landed into the side of his face firmly. He stumbled back and it gave me some pleasure.
Because nobody hurts my mate.
Nobody.
And I mean nobody.
