TDWT: Miranda's Way (Episode 14: Greece's Pieces)

Miranda's POV:

I'm a decent member of the team, and have a good shot of winning the million dollars, right?

I mean, I'm lucky enough to be on the team I'm on, even if the name is stupid. Let me say, Chris is NOT really really really really hot.

I'm was sitting in Economy Class, since the Amazons won somehow. Duncan is not the ripper, I swear to God...

Now, he's on our team, and Noah is gone. I don't hate Duncan, but I don't adore him.

He was currently sleeping on the bench. Tyler was shivering as if he'd seen a ghost, and Owen had left to get some slop they call food.

Then there was me. I was on the bench against the wall, listening to my music, looking at the leader of our team, Alejandro.

Ever since that scare I got in London, I've really caught myself staring at him more often. I was worried sick that he had gotten killed. I couldn't let that happen.

But, I feel like he's been a bit distant from me...ever since I told him I wanted to die because I thought he had gotten killed. Maybe that rubbed him the wrong way.

But, I've realized I'm in love with him. I've never seen someone so perfect at everything. I'd love to get to know him more, but he's a walking lie. I've seen what he's done to the girls on Team Victory. I know his scheme.

But, I do as he says, and I'm on his good side at the moment. It's certainly a relief.

He was smirking at Tyler's odd behavior. Knowing him, he probably manipulated Tyler onto his side. He knew something was up, and I did too.

He started talking to Tyler. "Something wrong Tyler? If you tell me, maybe I can help."

Tyler looked around cautiously. "I saw something..."

At that moment, Duncan yawned, stretching his arms.

"Oh, man that was a deep sleep. A sleep of the dead."

He chuckled. "You get it, Tyler? Dead!"

Tyler's eyes widened in fear. Alejandro smirked, rubbing his chin in thought.

Right when I saw this, I knew exactly what had happened. Duncan and Gwen did something they shouldn't had, that was for certain. They probably kissed or something.

I can tell when someone is crazy about someone else, and Gwen was no different. I, like Sierra, watched the show frequently, and could tell Gwen had the hots for Duncan.

I didn't blame her, those two were practically made for each other. Not to mention I had a huge grudge on Courtney.

I was tempted to tell Alejandro what was going on, just to piss Courtney off. But, I figured he could find out himself.

All of a sudden, he looked over at me with a devious look on his face.

I cocked my head to the side, raising an eyebrow. He slid over to me, gesturing me to talk.

He leaned close to my ear.

"You know what's going on there?" he whispered.

I nodded. "It's too obvious. Duncan and Gwen probably did something."

His smirk grew wider. "How interesting... but how can you tell that it has to do with Gwen?"

I scoffed quietly. "Have you not noticed they way they look at each other? They obviously like each other, a lot."
