Chapter 19: "I Wear White"

TDWT: Miranda's Way (Episode 19: Niagara Brawls)

Miranda's POV:

After a nice few days of peace, the mayhem had to ensue again.

I was fast asleep in First Class when I felt someone pick me up and carry me somewhere. I could only assume it was Alejandro, so I just kept myself in a peaceful state of mind.

I was put down on something warm and soft. It smelled like cherries.

I didn't really question it, since I was still three quarters asleep.

After a while, I heard Owen screaming and cold wind in my face.

"Wake up, guys!"

I soon opened my eyes the sight of us plummetting from the sky.

We all started screaming and I grabbed onto Alejandro.

"Hey, kids! You better get into your paddle boats!"

Soon, we saw two giant swan boats fall to us, and we grabbed onto them for dear life, landing in the water.

"I'm starting to question my mom's crush on Chris...just a little." Sierra mumbled.

Soon, Owen started pointing and panicking.

"Wa-wa-water!"

Courtney grumbled. "Yes, Owen we know we're in the water."

What Courtney failed to see was that we were heading for a giant waterfall.

"Oh dear God!" I held Alejandro's arm.

"Waterfall! Quick, paddle!"

So, we all started paddling our boats to get away.

"We're all gonna die!" Owen cried.

"If you let us live, I will tutor any brain dead who requires it, even Duncan!" Courtney prayed.

"If we live, I'll forget she ever said that." Duncan added.

"If we live, I'll let Sierra kiss me!" Cody cried.

We all stared at him with shocked faces.

"What? Like we're gonna make it!"

This caused Sierra to crack.

"I. Want. My. KISS!"

She somehow found a rope, tied up Owen, threw him onto our boat, and paddled like she was on Nascar.

We crashed onto dry land, with me on top of Alejandro.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

He groaned, rubbing his head. "I am now that you're here."

I rolled my eyes. "I'm being serious."

He let out a weak smirk. "Yes, mi dulce. I'm okay."

I smiled back. "Well, that's good."

He kissed me quickly before standing up. I stood up beside him and walked over to where Chris was.

"So, Niagara Falls is pretty awesome, eh?"

"It almost killed us!" I scowled.

"Like I said, awesome. The falls is the jewel in Canada's crown, and one of the top ten natural wonders in the world. It's also known for its fabulous casino, which is where we'll be heading for the first part of the challenge!"

All our faces lit up with excitement.

"Oh, man! Seriously?!" Duncan exclaimed.

But, when we got there, it was nothing to fawn over.
