I was in Mr. Dodd’s class dozing off during his lecture, his very boring and tortuous lecture

“So is it possible for a society to be fair to each and every individual? Of course not because what you find fair, may not be fair to someone else….”

He went on and on and on until my stomach practically said Stopppp. I was starving to say the least; I had skipped breakfast and was now dealing with the consequences. Maybe I could go downstairs and buy something from the vending machine. That sounds just right; yes that’s what I’ll do. I raised my hand and waited ever so patiently for Mr. Dodd to look at me.

“Yes, Daisy” he said calmly trying to hold his annoyance

“May I use the restroom” I asked praying he would say yes

“Yes, you may go” he said and went back to his lecture.

I walked out of class with my bag, happily running to the vending machine. Once I got there I was faced with the tough decision of what to get.

“I could get the Doritos, which looks heavenly right now” I said to myself seeing as nobody was around.

Or, I could get hot Cheetos, Or Famous Ammos! I yelped in pure excitement, obviously my hunger was getting to my head now.

“What should I get what should I get…” this was a tough decision believe it or not.

“Get the hot Cheetos, they give you a lot in a bag, the Doritos rip you off and the cookies only bring 5 of them in a bag” someone said startling me, causing me to curse under my breath

“Shit, did you have to sneak up behind me like that” I said turning to the person only to realize it  was no one other than Joey.

He chuckled softly amused by my face, and conversation I just had with myself

“I’m sorry I do apologize for interrupting, please continue your conversation” he said all to amused, which easily got me annoyed

“Whatever funny guy,” rolling my eyes I started looking for my change, but realized I was short 25 cents. I wasn’t going to ask Mr. I’m too cool over here, because that would just inflate his ego so I started to stall, looking around to see if there was any change on the ground.

“Are you short? “He asked me with a serious expression

“Excuse me? No I’m not short, I’m 5”6 okay, and I’m very capable of reaching the vending machine” I said offended he would ask such a question.

He chuckled to himself and finally got his composure together “I meant if you were short on change” he said lifting one of his eyebrows.

“Ohh, no I’m fine, thanks” I said realizing how stupid I just sounded, but still too stubborn enough to ask him for change.

“Here” he handed me a dollar and sat back down waiting for me to get something.

“I have change, its okay you don’t need to give me any money” I said

“Just buy something; you’ve been looking around like if you’re going to find treasure on the ground for a good two minutes”

“Fine, thank you, I’ll pay you back tomorrow” I said, thankful that he was being nice to me

“Don’t worry about it” he said softly

“No, I’ll pay you back tomorrow for sure, I’m not going to let you give me money and then bribe me for a date later on” I said remembering the incident with Nick.

“What?  You want to go on a date with me? He asked while smiling at me

“Nooo!  I didn’t say that I said,”
