    Monday evening.

Something was off. But this time Noah noticed.

She stayed. She stayed over for nearly a week. He cursed his stupidity, his obliviousness. She stayed, and he hadn't fucking noticed.

So as they ate and talked and laughed he thought more and more on why she stayed. Finally he stood, her curious eyes locked with his.

"Julie?"

"Yes?" She laughed, standing as well.

"You . . ." He thought for a moment, furrowing his brows. "It has been a week. No, more than that. You stayed."

She looked away shyly. "Yeah, I did."

He moved a few steps towards her, until they were a few centimeters apart. "Why?" He whispered.

"Because I've been thinking . . . " She draped her arms around his neck, swaying until he swayed with her. "I've been thinking a lot about us."

"Us? Are you breaking up with me Juliana?" He asked playfully, a lazy smile set on his lips.

She laughed, "God, no. Quite the opposite."

He already knew what she was offering. "Well, you do spend almost every night here. Lately, anyway."

She smiled, and pressed her lips to his. "You knew."

"I can read your mind." He murmured, holding her closer.

She stood on the tips of her toes, and spoke into his ear, her voice a coy whisper. With her eyes were half closed in contentment, she pondered, "What am I thinking now?"

He leaned forward, smiling into the kiss, and the rest of the evening was a blur.
