    Only after she left, standing outside the coffee shop, did she realize what he said.

    He had said yes.

    To a date.

    No, not a date, she told herself, a friendly outing between friends including only friendly gestures and nothing romantic whatsoever. Yet she still ran away.

    Damn.

    She sighed at the missed opportunity, but then smiled at his words.

    "I'd love to go out with you sometime."

    He'd love to. He'd l o v e to.

    "He'd love to!" She exclaimed aloud, tipping her head up to announce it to the world. And to Noah, who was currently walking to his car. He waved to her, his eyebrows raised in amusement, and she shut her mouth, tight.

    ah, shit.    

    How many times could she possibly embarrass herself in one morning?

    She ducked around the street corner, cheeks ablaze, and hurried off to work.
