    It was an unfamiliar feeling;

    standing on the edge of euphoria and bliss at a terrifying height, waiting to fall, and knowing that once you do you cannot stop the ground from rushing up to meet you.

    He felt so far from home, yet felt that he belonged;

    in a place where it was his fingers tangled within her hair, it was her hands trailing down his chest, it was the blur of movements that they would remember with a smile the next morning. It was the feeling of her smile beneath his lips, it was the feeling of electricity sparking from each touch, it was feeling eternal in a experience so ephemeral. She was the only thought occupying his mind, and he was the only person she wanted to see, to feel. Everything was new to them, as if the laws of love themselves had been rewritten. If that was insanity, then they didn't want to be sane. They had lost control, and weren't trying to find it. Time was forgotten, along with tomorrow, and along with the distinction of reality itself.

    He hadn't experienced anything like it before. Not with Kelly, not with Juliana.

    The experience was beautiful, void of the thought of consequence, void of the thought of how it could all end.

    What they had was dangerous, but when is love not? Love makes us believe we can see the future, but we only see what we want to believe.

Because unfortunately, not everyone gets their happy ending.

    But maybe, just maybe, Noah Hanson and Gemma Summers were an exception.
