"They surely know how to throw a party." Tory said.

"Definitely! This is the most extravagant birthday party I've ever attended. You might as well get used to this, George, as your attendance will be required in the succeeding family events." Cassie added

" Aedan's fortunate to have amazing parents. Not only are they well-off, they're also very kind and generous. You're lucky to have Aedan as he's lucky to have you." Dillon said.

I'm now with my friends as Aedan is also with his. I respect his personal space so I asked him to spend time with his friends, too. Its his birthday so he deserve to enjoy this by having a great time himself, not just get busy with entertaining guests. I don't have to be with him all the time to feel secured. I trust him as much as he trust me. We have a great amount of mutual respect that we don't doubt each other's words.

I just rolled my eyes and took a sip of my cocktail.
" You guys are impossible. I just met his family and you're all talking like we just got engaged." I said while shaking my head.

"It was obvious that they really liked you! Even his relatives are fond of you!" Tory stated

"There's no telling if they really liked me or not. For all we know they were just being modest, but I have to agree with Dillon. Aedan's parents are really great people. Aedan told me about their philanthropies and I'm totally floored. He really is lucky to be raised by them." I said as I took in the last of my cocktail.

"Hey, that's your third glass already. Slow down, girl on fire! You don't want to embarrass yourself later when you start laughing loudly while shooting imaginary arrows." Cassie chuckled

"Okay, I promise that will be the last one. I was just enjoying the bottomless free drinks. Do you guys know where the rest room is?" I asked

"Go inside then turn left. The room under the staircase." Tory answered

I walked towards the house and followed as Tory instructed. I found the door, but it was occupied. I don't think I can hold it for long. I saw a housekeeper so I asked for an alternative restroom for guests. She directed me towards the one upstairs, near the mezzanine so I immediately went there.

After relieving myself, I found myself taking my sweet time appreciating their deluxe rest room. Everything screams wealth in their home. I was walking slowly gaping at their upscale home. I've never been to a house this fancy. I was near the stairs when I noticed that there was a huge balcony at the end of the hallway so I decided to check it out. As I neared the curtained glass door, I saw the boys sitting there and having a drink. They seem to be having a great time as I could hear their loud laughter from the partially opened door. I didn't want to interrupt anything so I decided to turn around and just go back to my friends. As I turned around, I picked up something that made me stay still.

"Don't be too excited. He hasn't won anything yet." Brody said

"But she's already his girlfriend. It'll eventually get there." Owen replied

Who are they talking about?

"You know what, dude, I consider you as my role model for patience. I've never seen anyone do what you did and I don't even know if I could reach half of the period that you've spent in working for it. I don't want to admit it, but my hats off to you." Sean laughed

"I have to agree on that one. You can pass for a romance novel writer for all the antics that you have done in swooning that bitch. Don't even get me started with her mouth that I just want to stuck my foot in to put a stop on the filth that comes out of it. I know it wouldn't be easy, but damn. If I ever lose my McLaren, I wouldn't lose a sleep on it because the entertainment was worth it." Brody said
