Adrienne POV:

I woke up feeling refreshed from a good night's sleep and remembered that tryouts for quidditch was next week. That was probably the sole purpose of me actually getting up on a weekend to go outside. I also promised Harry I would practice with him, as we were both aiming to be seekers on our own house teams. So I hauled my tired body out of bed and into the shower. Izzi and Vanessa were still sleeping so I reminded myself to be quiet. I hopped into the shower and washed my hair and body, letting the hot water wake me up. After that, I put a sound barrier around the bathroom and started blow drying my hair, as it was cold outside and I didn't fancy going outside with sopping wet hair.

Once my hair was all nice and silky smooth, I set to work dressing. Since I was practicing quidditch, I chose something comfy, yet still warm. I had black leggings on and a warm shirt with a jacket and some gloves. Once I was dressed, I put some light makeup on, threw my long hair into a high ponytail and then stepped outside of the bathroom. I grabbed a light snack of some strawberries from out little fridge and was about to leave when Izzi suddenly spoke up.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to practice quidditch with Harry for a time. I promised him I'd help since tryouts are coming up next week."

"Okay. Have fun. I'm going to go back to sleep since it's the weekend," Izzi said as she laid back down and was soon snoring peacefully.

I walked outside with my new Nimbus 2000 that my parents so graciously bought for me. I got to the quidditch arena, that we had recently gotten permission to use, and looked around for Harry. I saw him walking up with Ron, Fred and George, and Hermione.

"Hey guys," I greeted them, acknowledging each of them.

"Hey Anne," Harry greeted me warmly. "I hope you don't mind I brought Ron, Fred, and George to practice with us. Hermione's here just because she wanted to get out of the castle for a while."

"That's fine. She could give us some pointers on improving, considering she reads so much about every subject," I pointed out, smiling at her.

"True, true. So should we get to flying? I brought a rubber ball for the quaffle and Neville's rememberall for the snitch. It's not perfect but it's close enough."

"I think it's perfect, considering what we're allowed with," I commented.

"Thanks. So shall we...hit it up?" Fred said.

"Hit it up?" I said with a laugh. "Yes we can hit it up."

We mounted out brooms and soared up into the sky with Hermione looking on from the stands. We started off first by letting me get used to my new nimbus. That only took a few seconds and soon I was zipping around, going as fast as the wind, with only Harry to be able to keep up in my wake.

We started with a few laps around the rings and then got into the actual playing. By the end of the game, both me and Harry had caught our"snitch" about a dozen times and we had both gotten the system down like the back of our hands.

I was looking at Fred when I heard Harry shout something at George. I spun around on my broom to hear what Harry was saying.

"Hey slowpoke! Bet you can't catch me!" He yelled with a boyish grin on his face.

"Wanna bet Potter?" George called back with the same smile on his face and he started flying after Harry, who had started zipping around the playing arena. I looked back at Fred who was laughing atop his broom and almost fell off.

"Watch it, ginger," I yelled teasingly, caught up in the moment. "Don't want to fall off now do you?"

"Whose talking now?" He called back with a smile. "Want to go sit down there while theses two knuckleheads goof off?" He pointed to a tree by the side of the quidditch pitch.
