So it's been a little over four months since we returned from our journey, and now Izzi and I were going over preparation for the upcoming Yule Ball. During those four months we were still being asked about our journey and asking to pet and/or ride Belle. It's been busy but a good type of busy. We've gotten back into the swing of schoolwork and have completely caught up on schoolwork so we didn't have to worry too much about exams and stuff. Last quidditch games were being prepped for so that also took up most of our time.

Now it was a couple of weeks before the Yule Ball and Izzi and I were traveling to Hogsmeade with the rest of the students. Since it was like two weeks before the Yule Ball, we thought we'd drop into different clothing stores to see if we can find anything nice that we don't already have.

So the first shop we popped into was Twiltfitt and Tatings, as it was a higher-end clothes shop. Unfortunately there was nothing there that we liked or that was within our price range.

"Darn, I really thought that we'd find something in there," Izzi said as we walked out of the store empty-handed.

"Yeah but we could always go to Madam Malkin's. There's always stuff there that's appropriate for special occasions," I said reassuringly.

So we walked into Madam Malkin's and split up across the board of the store to see if we could find anything. I headed over to the shirts area while Izzi headed over to the skirt/pants area.

I was browsing through when I saw a mint green tank top with wide straps ad lace all on the front and a grey cardigan that match it that I immediately loved and had to take for myself. Then next to it I saw a black crop tank top with feather lace detailing on the bottom and I immediately thought of Izzi. I also saw a purple floral kimono that looked like Izzi as well.

Once I had those tucked under my arm, I went to find Izzi. We met in the middle of the store and I saw that she had two clothing items like I did.

"I see you have had luck on your side," I commented.

"Same goes for you," she said. "What did you find?"

I then proceeded to show her what I had and she showed me what she had. It turned out that we both had found something for each other and it actually matched with each other too (outfits in title pic, Anne's on the left, Izzi's on the right). So that was good and we ended up buying everything we needed at that shop. Jewelry and other stuff was already in our possessions. So since we had everything we needed, we went on to worrying about end of semester exams and quidditch games as it consumed out time for the remaining two weeks. And before we knew it, it was the day of the Yule Ball. Classes were discarded for the day and our time was spent in our common rooms, freaking out and students who were going preparing whilst students who were too young spent their time figuring out how to sneak into the Yule Ball.

But now it was like two hours before the ball. Izzi and I were getting ready together, firstly by doing the necessary: showering, dressing, etc. We both decided to leave out hair down, me curling it at the ends, and Izzi just straightening it. Makeup wise, Izzi went for a darker look for her eye shadow whilst I went for more gold and shimmery colors (Anne's makeup top right, Izzi's makeup bottom right). But nonetheless we got ready in time.

Draco POV:

"Ugh. How long does it take to tie a tie?" I grumbled to myself as I fiddled with my black tie for my suit.

"Hey dude, are you ready to go? You don't want to be late." I saw a head poke around the door and it turned out to be Alex, the head boy of Slytherin.

"Yeah just finishing up," I said, fiddling more with my tie.

"Do you need some help?" He said, laughing as he walked over to me and took the tangled tie from my hands and tying it with expert fingers.
