I just came back from the small get-together with the band. I have a lot to tell you. Promise you'll keep it a secret?
This afternoon I came home from work. I had about two hours to get ready. I decided to pick out a formal red dress with a black waistband. Quite modest. I pulled out some black heels. I hopped into the shower and rinsed out my hair. I washed it out with shampoo, and rinsed my hair again. I turned off the shower and got. I dried my body and wrapped my hair in the towel. I slipped on my black panties and bra. I put on my dress and zipped it up carefully. I unwrapped my hair, drying it. I brushed it out so it could dry faster. I pulled it up and let a few strands of hair in the front dangle. I put on some make up. After that, I finished off the look with my heels. I looked into the mirror, checking if I needed anything else. Earrings. I looked through my jewelry and found dangling, diamond earrings I got for my birthday about a year ago. The door knocked and I answered it to Roger. He was in a blue button up with a blazer over it.
"Wow. You look stunning" He said.
"Thanks" I smiled
"Are you ready?"
"Yea, just a sec." I walked back into the apartment. I grabbed my clutch bag and made sure my keys and necessities were inside. I turned off the lights and walked out. I closed the door, making sure it was locked. Roger escorted me out. His car was parked outside. He opened the door for me. I got inside. Roger closed the door. He got in the car and started to drive.
"You're going to love the boys. I'm sure they'll like you too." Roger said "We do this every week. Planning dinners and small parties. It's Freddie's specialty."
"I'd figured. He seems like the glamorous type."
"Well, he can be shy at first, but don't worry, he comes around very quickly."
"And how about you?"
"Me? Well I guess I get along well with people. We are going off to a good start aren't we?"
"Yea, I guess so." I chuckled.
"Are you single, Dahlia? If you don't mind me asking."
"Yes, as a matter of fact. Are you?" He paused for a moment.
"No, actually, I'm not. I've been with her for seven years now."
"Wow, congratulations."
"What?"
"Married for seven years. That's a pretty long time."
"Oh no, dear, you must be mistaken. We aren't married, we've been dating for seven years."
"Oh I see. Have you thought of marrying her?"
"No actually, not yet. Maybe someday, I will. She'll actually be with us tonight. Maybe you two will get along as well."
"I can't wait to meet her." We didn't talk for a while.
"Is being an assistant what you originally intended to be?"
"No, actually, I wanted to be apart of marketing and advertisement design."
"Oh, that's interesting. I've never heard of someone with those intentions."
"I've been told that many times before."
"Well, maybe you will someday. Maybe you can even design the cover of our new album."
"Maybe" We both laughed. Roger pulled up to the driveway of an enormous house. I don't think house was even the appropriate word for this, it was amazing. Roger parked the car.
