{ CHAPTER 12 - NOT EVEN THE BEGINNING ON THE RED BLOODY FLOOR }
"No! Star, you can't be in love with that blood sucker!" Dominic splat with rage.
"Maybe I am what are you going to do?" Starandra snapped as she got up from the couch and crossed her arms across her chest.
"I'll kill him myself."
"But it's my mission! You can't do that!" Star protested as worries was lingering in her nerves and eyes.
"It's either you or me, but either way Colton will be killed. Do you understand?" He bellowed with such fiery and anger, it was cutting all sweet silence in the room to tense heat that makes her shiver from fear.
"Yes, sir." She whispered softly.
Starandra looked down at the floor as she had her hands to her sides and behind her thigh she had crossed her pointer and middle finger together, canceling out her words.
Later that day - Night; Third-Person Point of View
As the mysterious figure had left before Starandra could notice his movements he watched her the whole time period making sure she obeyed his warning and when she ran out the car blaring out panic words to the pedestrians he smiled softly with a mixture of happiness, for listening to him, and sincerity. He just wanted to go over there and hold her tight telling her she was going to be okay and that everything is over. But sadly, it's not. It's not even close to even starting.
As he walked through the woods to the top of Redrum hill, the tallest hill in the town surrounded by the bowels of the forest, he looked back at the skyline horizon as he said a wordless goodbye to Redrum and walked through the clouds that covered the peek. As he felt this bolt of energy shoot through his veins and red lightning striking at his feet, missing him by a few centimeters, he fell to the ground. Landing perfectly on his feet he looked up at a tall man, pale as the winter cold and a cunning smirk spread across his face.
"Welcome back to Timeoloria, Derek."
"Nice to be back, for now."
"Yes, for now. You warned the assassin...am I correct?"
"Yes, sir."
"Very well. Get the people together, and ready for next timing. We all will be moving to Redrum's soil to meet the assassin."
"Indeed, sir."
This pale gentlemen walked closer to nothing as he looked at where Derek had fallen from the clouds as he knew that the portal led to his true love. And the time was coming soon to reunite with her.
"Meet me at time's chosen hand, at where the battlefield awaits."
"Very well, Jake."
Later that night; Kelsey's Point of View
As I slipped through the open window of the school, all dressed in black, I quietly stepped on the tiled floor and walked down the walls heading to the only place I came for - the dance room.
As I opened the heavy silver metaled double-doors, I breathed in the air - sweat and passion; my life.
This was my secret place at night that I always went to when I needed to think or keep my mind off of things or to even figure out any confusions that had filled my mind that day.
I pressed play on the stereo that was built into the wall and walk to the mirrored wall and stretched my limbs as I took off my jacket leaving me in my stretchy tights and a skin clamping undershirt.
'I guess it's gonna have to hurt
I guess I'm gonna have to cry
And let go of some things I've loved
To get to the other side
I guess it's gonna break me down
Like fallin' when you try to fly
Sad but sometimes
Moving on with the rest of your life
Starts with goodbye'
As the music played my body delicately did my turns and my heart poured its emotion on the dance floor like sweet honey. My ballet movements taking over me as I didn't even hear the clicking of the door open or feet coming closer to me until lights flickered, having darkness envelope my now fully stopped body, breathing heavily in slight fear of what could happen any second. I squinted my eyes as my pupils dilated in the dusk, and all my vision could capture was soft moments stepping around the room. I took a silent breath trying to keep my voice and breaths deaf-like.
One briskly-full air hovered over my neck and then all that I could constructer was a sharp pain in the pin pointed center of the right side of my neck and it was making my eyes flutter to a close and nightfall ate at my soul and robbed me of all my air that rested in my lungs.
Kelsey's Murder; Third-Person Point of View
As Kelsey's still body was sprawled on the floor her body's inner temperature slowly coming to a chilling touch, her thick red blood leaked out of two wounds on her pale neck. The blood pooling around her body as more was exposed out her weak and dead body. Straight out of two identical circle wounds... punctured wounds to be exact.
{ AUTHOR'S NOTE }
Chapter 12 is posted and the song that Kelsey was dancing too, before she was murdered is in the sidebar on the right. 'Starts With Goodbye'. It's a little short but I still hope you enjoyed this chapter and I know its late and I have been switching the update status on my book, Bionic, a lot latley but for the past week I didnt know exactly when I would be able to write because I've been busy with graduation practice (8th grade; this Wednesday) and helping my most favorite teacher in the world with his summer lesson plans for next year.
