{ CHAPTER 15 - LOVE WILL REMEMBER }

Now is all we got as the time can never be paid by a price. Deep in her heart her feelings are gone as she moved on for the next month alone but as her mind always tries to forget, love had remembered every piece of moment they had. Even the simple seconds they shared and the drive by collides, they are collected in her heart to a cherished time. Even though she is a bionic woman her heart has always been human and it kept its precious diamonds of memories under lock and key to never escape even if she tried herself. Forever will and always be hers… theirs.

It’s been a month since Starandra had made physical contact with her lover, Colton. Halloween was coming up soon and she still hasn’t finished her mission. But how can she when she’s in love with him?

“You didn’t program me to kill the ones I love.”

Her own words replayed over and over in her head every time she even tried to succeed with her mission; and her words won each time.

“Starandra, please report to the principal’s office. Starandra Castle, please report to the principal’s office.” The intercom echoed throughout the halls and in each classroom.

She growled in frustration as she collected her things and walked to the main office in silence to herself. As she entered the room she closed the door behind her and slumped in the black Italian leathered chair in front of the mahogany wooden desk that stabled the paperless platform, and in its place a computer and a name plate ‘Principal Castle’.

Starandra glared at the man staring back at her with emotionless eyes.

“I see you made no progress yet…” He trailed off, shaking his head softly and looking deep in her eyes.

“Not yesterday, not today and not–”

“Don’t you fucking say, ‘not never’! Remember our deal, Starandra.”

“You really shouldn’t be cursing and yelling at a student, principal. She snapped, annoyed that Dominic had cut her off.

“I can speak to my…my…my– I can speak to you anyway I please.” He stuttered not knowing what she was to him. He couldn’t call her his daughter –yes to the school she was– but in real life she was not, they had sex before. And she wasn’t his girlfriend… she was something to him.

“Wow… you can’t even label me.” She mumbled to herself.

“I want Colton killed before the Halloween Ball or else I will kill him for you.”

Principal’s Office; Starandra’s Point of View

“Yeah, whatever.” Starandra mumbled as she got up and walked out the door, slamming it shut behind her. As she walked away she heard Dominic’s faint shouts turn to whispers behind the shut door.

“I can’t believe he is still shitting me about my own mission.” She mumbled softly to herself.

“Sure is your mission.”

Starandra snapped her neck backwards as she looked around herself in the abandoned hallway.

“Who said that?!” She shouted her curiosity.

 “One who knows your secret…”

“What secret?” She whispered with slight fear.

The voice chuckled with delight, “Don’t play dumb with my Star, or should I say… Vanessa.”

At that strike of name Starandra ran, ran away from the horrid voice taunting her every move now.

“You can’t run from the truth, Vanessa!”
