[1] - mutetoday was like any other day in the world. people dying, babies being born. the cycle we're all forced to live in. . .and die in. .
J.
justin. his life went on like a hamster on a wheel. no one noticed him, but he noticed everyone else with his vibrant hazel eyes. being mute, all his other senses were there and prominent in his life.
he is very observant about everything around him. like the nature and people. he was just a mute boy, who saw things differently from everyone else.
: :"justin, how are you today?" the lady with blonde locks sat across from the boy. his head slightly low, barely acknowledging the woman. the oval table sat in middle of the yellow plastered room with small decorations hanging here and there.
the woman waited, wanting a warm welcome from the mute boy with the hood draped over his head.
the warm and gentle welcome never showed up.
a frown fought it's way to the woman's young face, making her seem disappointed. she'd been seeing this boy for a year, and he still didn't give her the welcome she thought she deserved.
he had been seeing this same lady for the past year. a whole year of going over the same things. how to use sign language, how to use communication skills - which he thought had no use. seeing as he was twenty - one and not a five year old in kindergarten - and how not to get frustrated about him being mute.
justin truly disliked being with her every friday. a day he'd usually be up in his room, playing xbox or just sleeping.
he felt that he was way too old to be doing this. but, he only did it to keep his mother sane.
it was hard for his mother to accept the fact that she and her husband had given life to a mute child. she thought, maybe there was something wrong with her that had been past through to this child. or her husband's sperm was off.
of course, she never told justin all of this. justin could already see that his mother was in distress and needed help, and that's the only reason why he came here. he claimed that he didn't need the help, he was well over the age that really needed this.
justin looked up to see the lady with blonde hair mouthing words at him. her mouth moved open and close, signalling that she was trying to communicate with him. honestly, he thought she was mocking him. when he opens his mouth, nothing comes out. he knew he looked like a fish out of water, but damn was this cruel.
yes, he was already in a bad mood, seeing as he had to come here. now, he was ready to fuck it all.
her lips kept mocking him, silently moving. just slap her, she needs it, the voice in the back of his throat spoke up in anger. that voice. the voice he grew up with. a voice that haunted him everyday.
at the tender age of five, he was mute, of course, but he would soon find out himself that he had a voice. inside of him. a thing that showed up to situations that had nothing to do with it. he didn't understand how it came to be. maybe he was dropped on his head?
justin slitted his sharp eyes at the lady, as she starts swinging her head side to side. she was acting like a child. her eyes widen, her cheeks were sucked into her mouth, making her look like a fish.
