A few days had gone by and I hadn't seen Jon since. It hurt a bit to know it was my fault I hadn't seen him in a few days. If I hadn't told him to leave me alone then I'd still have him in my life. I had decided to hit the gym. We had main event tonight and I needed to get my mind off of Jon.
I always want to the gym early in the morning. There were less people which meant I had more time to focus on my workout. I began doing my routine. By the end of it I was feeling pumped and decided to add some boxing to my routine today. I entered the boxing room and noticed someone else was in here punching the bag. I sighed and put on my gloves.
I walked over to the bag next to the person. They hadn't even noticed I was here. I began punching the bag and the person quickly turned around surprised someone else was in the room. He looked like he was going to yell at me for being in here but when he noticed it was me he quickly ripped his good back and took out his headphones. "Kimber?" he asked.
"Hi, Jon. I hope you don't mind that I join you," I replied.
Jon watched me for a few minutes before he smirked. "Thought you wanted nothing to do with me?"
"I don't want anything to do with you. I just came in here to box."Jon grabbed my arm as I went to throw another punch and spun me around and into his chest. "I meant what I said, Kimber, I don't plan on staying away from you. No matter what you say or do, I'm not leaving you again. Come on, you need to work on your form some," he said as he led me to the ring in the room.
"Jon, my form is fine," I said trying to fight the closeness of us.
"What? You think you could beat me in there?" Jon said as he smirked and climbed in the ring.
I knew what he was doing. He was trying to get me to fight just like when we were younger. He had taught me most of what I know about wrestling. "Bring it," I said as I hopped in the ring with him.
*DEAN'S POV*
I laughed with Kimber as we both collapsed in the ring. I had to admit that was the best workout I had ever had. "You've gotten much better, Kimber," I said.
"Well, duh! Would I be in WWE IF I hadn't?"
She had a point. I smirked as I rolled into my side and looked at her. "You still have that sassy attitude. I love it," I said as I locked my lips.
"And you still have that cocky, don't give a shit attitude that I hate," she replied with a smirk.
We both began laughing again. It was just like old times, and I didn't want to loose this side of her. I leaned in to kiss her but the door suddenly flew open making Kimber and I jump. "There you are, Kimber. I've been looking for you every where. We have a radio show to do," Becky said as she walked in the room.
"Shit. I totally forgot. See ya later, Jon," Kimber said as she rolled out of the ring.
I stood up and leaned on the ropes as I watched her grab her bag. "Will I?" I said with a smirk.
She stopped in the doorway and smirked back at me. "I guess only time will tell," she replied.
I watched her walk away and sat down on the edge of the ring. I had missed Kimber more than she knew. To know she is back in my life made my whole world brighter and being in the ring with her brought back so many memories.
*FLASHBACK*
"Are you sure it's ok that we go in here?" Kimber asked as I unlocked the door to the gym.
"Yeah. Its fine. I've been coming here a lot at night," I replied as I finally got the door unlocked.
Kimber looked around before she followed me into the building. I flipped on a few lights before I led her to the ring in the center of the gym. It was past midnight and we had both snuck out to meet up. We were both grounded for being late for curfew last weekend but I had convinced her to come with me tonight.
After I showed her a few moves in the ring we sat on the edge and began talking. "I'm going to do this someday, Kimber. I'm going to be a top name in wrestling. I'm going to be great," I had said to her.
She smiled at me. "I know you will. You will be huge. You're really good. I'll watch all your matches," she replied with a smile.
I loved her smile. We may be only 15 but I already knew who I wanted to be by my side when I made it big. I wanted Kimber. Sure we were just friends at the moment but I wanted her to be more. I didn't know if she felt the same way but somewhere inside I knew she did.
"You won't just be watching my matches. You'll be ringside as my VIP," I said as I put my arm around her shoulders.
"Jon, do you really mean that?" she asked as she looked up at me with those big hazel eyes.
"Of course, we're best friends for life," I said as I had gently tipped her head up and kissed her.
*END FLASHBACK*
I smiled as I walked back to the room I shared with Renee. I slid my card into the door and opened it. I dropped my bag on the floor and my card on the table before I collapsed in the bed. I had to figure out a way to keep Kimber in my life and not let her escape me again. She made me so incredibly happy.
"Where were you and why are you smiling like that?" Renee asked as she came out of the bathroom.
Renee was a nice girl but as I took her in, I began to realize how different she was from Kimber. Renee always wore too much makeup where Kimber hardly wore any. She didn't need to. Renee had to have name brand clothes where Kimber was fine with a pair of jeans and an old band tee. Renee was demanding and had to know where I was at all times. Kimber didn't care.
"I was at the gym," I replied.
"Was she there?" Renee asked with disgust in her voice.
Ever since she met Kimber, Renee had hated her. I wasn't sure why but I had finally figured out how I was going to keep Kimber. I stood and began packing my bag. "yes she was there and it's made me realize that you and I don't fit well together," I replied as I zipped up my bag.
"What! Are you breaking up with me?" Renee demanded.
I just smirked. "Sorry. Its not you, it's me," I said as I opened the door but before I shut it I turned back to her. "No, I'm wrong. It is you, not me."
I quickly closed the door in time to hear something shatter against the back of the door. I walked down the hall and locked on a door. I smiled as Roman answered. His lip was still slightly swollen. I rubbed the back of my head. "Sorry bout me hitting you the other night. Can I room with you? I broke up with Renee," I said a bit uneasy.
Roman smirked at me. "Did you finally realize that your in love with Kimber?"
I stood there in shock. Was it that obvious? Roman laughed but held the door open for me anyways. I entered his room and set my bag down on the bed. "How did you figure it out?" I asked as I set my bag down.
"When a man flies at you and hits you as if you just made a move on his girl, you kinda piece two and two together, bro. But don't worry, I think Kimber is in love with you also," Roman said.
I smiled. The thought that I might actually have a chance to get Kimber back made everything in my life worth it. My beautiful, angelic Kimber, I'm coming for you whether you like it or not...
