Dan P.O.V.

"So have you made any progress yet?" Mum asks.

"The only thing I did recently was get Phil's attention but he didn't think if it was me." I say, disappointed.

I forgot to mention that when someone thinks of me, I get a beep from my earpiece. I have to wear an earpiece in case someone is talking to me from Earth, or if they think of me.

"Well tell me what happened. I was baking some cookies." Mum says, patting the sofa next to her.

"Well..."

*flashback*

Phil is in his room blow drying his hair from his morning shower and Dandy is at school, so I think now is a good time to try and get his attention.

The first thing I do, is I knock over the picture of us from our wedding day, and see if he'll notice.

"Oh my. I swear if that's Dan tricking me." Phil joked. I had a glimmer of hope but only to realize he was just joking, he didn't think of me, I didn't hear the beep.

I kept trying and trying, I threw one of my flower crowns and everything. But he thought it was just a weird joke.

*reality*

"Oh, baby boy. You never know what'll happen in the next three weeks." Mum says.

"One week passed already?!" I yell. Mum just nods her head and potters off to her other friends.

"Fine then!" I sit on the ground like a pouting baby. Why does becoming mortal again have to be so hard?

Dandelion P.O.V.

"Nicole, the weirdest shit has been happening in my house." I talk to my girlfriend on the phone.

"Like?"

"I don't know, just weird paranormal stuff. Like stuff flying off things, doors opening." I say, stressed out.

"We should hang out later and investigate like when you were a kid and you would play spies. We should really do that!" Nicole says.

"You know just how to bring out the child in me. Be over by 7. Love you." I say.

"Love you too, Lion." She says and hangs up.

This shall be interesting.

*7:00*

"I'm here!" Nicole says, opening the door.

"Hello there Nicole!" Dad says with a chuckle.

"Hi, my lovely lady." I say, giving Nicole a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh my gosh, you both remind me so much of your father and I when we were younger. I would do all these romantic gestures. I remember once I had this forest and I asked Dan out on our first date there and we carved out name in a tree. I should take you both there some day." Dad says.

"Can we go there tonight? It may help with our spy mission!" Nicole says, jumping up and down.

"What the heck, why not?" Dad says. He grabs the keys and walks us out into the car.

After a half an hour drive to the forest, we made it.

"Here is the spot where many memories were made with my beautiful pastel poet. Let's go inside." Dad says.

Nicole and I walk, hand and hand down the slightly dark path. Illuminated by the fairy lights that were seemingly on by a generator.

When we walked in, we saw that the spot had been turned into another couples hang out as well. They'd carved their initials into the tree.

"It looks the same as we left it. I like to know that couples have been treating this beautiful place nicely." Dad says.

We walked up to the infamous tree and it had a paper stuck to it.

This tree has been first claimed by the lovers "D+P" since the first initial was scratched out. Seems to be a K, but it's now D+P. Now this tree and spot has held many memories to couples from all around England. Please, if you are to engrave you and your significant other's initials into this tree, please do so nicely as this tree obviously means a lot to others and we would love to keep this tradition going for as long as possible. Thank you, "D+P" for creating this system of love for couples.

Dad had tears in his eyes and it obviously meant a lot to him.

"So much happened here. I love that it has been so special to everyone else as well." Dad says.

"Can Nicole and I engrave our initials?" I ask, and Dad nods, picking up a sharp stick for us.

As we left the forest we left with no evidence, many great stories, and great memories of when we marked that tree with the letters N+D.

Sorry my late posting as I've been quite busy this November. But, also this month, I met Dan and Phil at their book signing in NYC and it was the most amazing thing ever. I finally met my idols.
