Forbidden Mates Ch. 1

Rose's P.O.V.

It was in the middle of the night and I was being chased through the forest by something I couldn't see. I could hear something coming after me but I couldn't see what it was. I tripped over a rock, pushed myself back up and began running again.

Just as I saw the forest clearing, I heard branches breaking close behind me. I was nearly out when something jumped onto my back and bit my neck.

I woke up from my dream screaming at the top of my lungs and then I heard the sounds of footsteps approaching. My door opened and my five brothers came running in no doubt expecting to beat the crap out of someone. After my brothers discovered that there wasn't anyone in my room, my oldest brother Aiden, sat down on the bed beside me.

I had to calm down first; my heart was pounding hard in my chest so I waited to speak until my heart was going at its normal rhythm.

"I had a strange dream." I say.

"Great, we ran into her room thinking someone was attacking her but instead Rose has a strange dream." My fourth oldest brother Phoenix says.

Aiden looks up at Phoenix and glares at him.

"Be nice Phoenix." Aiden growls out.

I could tell that Phoenix was about to make a smartass remark when he looked at me.

"Rose, I'm sorry." He says.

I just nod my head; he was already forgiven.

"Can you tell me what your dream was about?" Aiden asks.

All of my brothers got on my bed so after they got comfortable; I began telling them about the dream I had. After I had finished telling them about my dream, they were all silent.

"Is that it; you didn't leave anything out?" Aiden asks.

I shake my head. "I didn't leave anything out." I reply.

Aiden nods his head. "If you have another dream like that again, make sure you tell me." He says.

I nod my head slightly. I was probably going to stay up for the rest of the night. I didn't want to have that dream again.

"I'm going to stay with Rose for the night; you guys go back to bed." Aiden says.

My brothers got off the bed, they all said good night to me before leaving my bedroom. Aiden got in the  bed and underneath the covers. We laid our heads on the pillows and then he pulled the blanket up over us.

"Try to go to sleep." Aiden says.

I nod my head and then I say good night to Aiden and he says it back. I turned my body to the other side before I drifted off to sleep not having a single dream to scare me.

I woke up the next day to the smell of breakfast, I looked around and I noticed that Aiden was gone. I got up off the bed and I walked into the dining room where my brother Riley was at.

"Did you have another dream?" Riley asks.

I shake my head no and then I saw Aiden come out of the kitchen and he places three plates on the table.

"That's good, let's sit down and have breakfast." Aiden says.

I pull out a chair and sat down. I began eating the breakfast when Miles comes over. He heads into the kitchen and makes breakfast for himself. I finished the breakfast so I got up, pushed the chair in and then I head into the kitchen. I placed the dishes in the sink and then I went upstairs into my room to take a shower.

After I got done with my shower, I picked my outfit which was a Doctor Who t-shirt and a pair of dark blue skinny jeans. After I got dressed somebody knocked on my bedroom door so I opened it and Owen, my brother, was standing there.

"I was thinking about heading to the mall, did you want to come with?" Owen asks.

I nod my head.

"Great, I'll meet you in the living room." Owen says.

Owen leaves then so I went into the bathroom and I combed through my hair quickly before heading to the living room where Owen was waiting. Owen and I walked out the house and we got into his truck. Owen drove off heading towards the mall.
