Forbidden Mates Ch. 34

Rose's P.O.V.

After Hunter's brothers' had gotten into their cars and left, Hunter and I went inside the house. We sat on the couch and I laid on Hunter's lap; Hunter put his hand on my shoulder and after he did that I closed my eyes and drifted off into sleep. I woke up an hour or two later...not sure, but I saw somebody shaking and looking at me. When my eyes focused I saw Hunter smiling at me. I smiled back at him and he says, "Connor will be back soon." I sat up and Hunter pulls me onto his lap.

I lay my head on his shoulder and he whispers in my ear, "I love you Rose." I kiss his cheek and whisper back, "I love you too." Hunter lays his head on mine and we stay like that for an hour until we heard somebody knocking on the door. I began to get off of Hunter's lap when he grabbed me and pulled me back down on the couch and he says, "Stay here." I nod my head and watch as Hunter gets off of the couch and makes his way towards the door. I got on my knees to watch, to see who it was and when Hunter opens up the door I see that Connor and Marie are back. Marie waves at me because she notices that I was on the couch and then Connor says to Hunter, "We got back from packing up my stuff."

Hunter nods his head, looks at me and back at Connor and he says, "Alright, you and I can go and unpack your things while Marie and Rose stay here." I sigh aloud and when Hunter turns to face me I say, "Again with a baby-sitter, really? I can take care of myself." Marie comes inside the house as Hunter says, "Babe, I'm sorry but I feel better when somebody is with you." Marie sits down on the couch as Hunter says, "Please, just until I get back?" I sigh angrily and say, "Fine." Hunter smiles a little as he comes towards me and when he tries to kiss my lips I turn my head so he ends up kissing my cheek. Hunter gives me a sad look as he turns around to go out the door with Connor.

Marie's P.O.V.

I watch as Hunter walks off slowly, probably hoping that Rose will get off the couch and want a kiss from him then but she doesn't remove herself. When the door closes, Rose turns around and when I tried to say something to her she gets off the couch and walks over to the window. I get up and follow her and when I'm in front of her I see her crying. I wrap my arms around her and she begins crying harder. I rub her back and I hear her say, "Can you please take me to Hunter?" I knew then that she wanted to apologize and make-up with him so I say, "Sure, follow me." After Rose let's go of me I lead her towards mine and Connor's house and when we went inside I saw that nobody was in the living room.

Rose and I went upstairs and when we entered the bedroom I saw Connor and Hunter sitting on the bed talking. After I had cleared my throat they both looked at Rose and I and Rose says to Hunter, "Can I talk to you?" Hunter gets up and walks towards Rose and when he's in front of her she hugs him tightly. Connor walks over to me and he hugs me tightly too. I smile at that, I hardly was ever hugged by anybody. Just as Connor and I were about to let go of each other Hunter says, "Rose and I are going to go outside to talk." Before Connor and I could say anything Hunter and Rose walk out of the room and down the stairs.

Connor let's go of me and we sit on our bed. Connor pulls me onto his lap and he wraps his arms around my waist. I sigh happily knowing that I haven't felt this happy since I met Connor. I place my hands on his and I say, "What do you think Hunter and Rose are doing right now?" Connor shrugs his shoulders and he says, "I don't know, just better not to think about it." I began to get bored just sitting and not doing anything and it wasn't even an hour yet. I pulled off Connor's hands and then I stood up and walked off towards the window. I heard the bed shift slightly and I knew that Connor had gotten off the bed and was walking towards me. I felt his arms wrap around me as I begin looking out the window.
