Forbidden Mates Ch. 28

Connor's P.O.V.

After Hunter told me that he couldn't find Rose, we both decided to split up so we could find her more easily. Hunter told me that he was going to go back into his room to search again so I decided to go into the kitchen and elsewhere. After I checked the kitchen, I decided to check outside. I opened up the front door and there was Rose sitting on the steps. I called out her name and she turns around and says, "Hey Connor." I tell her that she needs to come inside because Hunter is worried so she gets up and follows me inside. Hunter comes running over to us and he grabs Rose and pulls her towards him.

Hunter and Rose begin to leave but then Hunter turns around and says, "Thanks for finding my mate." I nod my head and just before I could say anything more Hunter escorts Rose away. I watch as he takes her into their bedroom. I shook my head and went into the kitchen and Ash says, "Rose get found?" I tell him she did and Ash says, "That's good." I sit up on the counter and I say, "Hunter is too protective over Rose, I think he needs to cool off." Ash laughs at that and he says, "Try telling him that."

I faked laughed and say, "Yeah...I don't think so." Ash laughs at that and I say, "But seriously though... he is over protective on her." Ash tells me that I need to drop it and I say, "Why should I?" Ash growls a little and he says, "Because it's only between Rose and Hunter not you." I sigh at that and say, "Yeah, your right but still, he's too protective." Just when Ash was about to something else Dominic walks in and he says, "Who's protective of whom?" Just when I'm about to speak Ash says, "Connor thinks that Hunter is too protective of Rose." Dominic pulls out a chair to sit on and he says, "I think he is." Ash glares at Dominic and he says, "Now why the hell would you think that?" Dominic stands up, walks over to Ash and I and he whispers, "I heard Hunter yelling at Rose." Ash and I both gasped and Dominic says, "Yeah."

Rose's P.O.V.

As soon as Hunter and I arrived in our room he locked the door and turned to face me. I knew then that I was going to get yelled at so I braced myself for it but little did I know that it wouldn't do much good. Hunter walked up to me and he shoved me hard into the wall and he grabbed my arms and held them above my head. I begin to cry thinking that Hunter was going to hurt me and then I saw his hand going onto my cheek. I closed my eyes tightly waiting for him to slap me but instead I just feel his hand stroking my cheek. I open up my eyes and when their fully opened Hunter kisses me and he says in a quiet voice, "I don't want you going outside unless I'm with you, alright?" I nod my head and then Hunter says, "Let's play a prank on my brothers. I will have to yell but I'm not meaning a word of it; want to do it?"

I nod my head and Hunter says, "I'm going to open the door slightly." He lets go of me and heads over to the door to open it slightly and then he walks back to me. Hunter grabs my arms and then he raises them above my head again and he kisses me gently before saying, "I love you Rose." I kiss him back and say, "I love you too Hunter." Hunter gives me one last kiss before he mouths the word, 'Ready,' so I nod my head and then he begins yelling at me. I flinched at his voice I wasn't expecting his voice to be so powerful. I laughed a little at some of the things he said and then Hunter placed his other hand on my mouth to keep me from laughing too hard. I smirked and decided to lick his hand so that's what I did. Hunter stops yelling for a second to moan slightly and then he begins to yell again. I muffled laughed at that since Hunter's hand was still on my mouth and I looked at Hunter and saw that he winked at me. I winked back and Hunter began to raise his voice higher and louder so that his brothers would hear it.
