Forbidden Mates Ch. 42

Hunter's P.O.V.

I had to leave early because I needed to address the pack about a human who doesn't know what we are. I didn't want to leave Rose alone with that creep but I had to make sure that my pack knew not to reveal themselves to him. I felt that Rose was up and I sighed slightly, wishing that I was with her right now. I began to make my way back to my Rose and when I arrived at the house I went inside and found her sitting with Brian eating breakfast. I walked up to her and I kissed the top of her head. She looks up at me and I say, "I missed you." She grabs my head pulls me down and kisses me hard and she says, "I missed you too."

I'm surprised that Brian didn't open up his big mouth and I see that he was shoving food in his mouth. I shake my head and say, "I hope you didn't have Rose cook breakfast." Brian shakes his head and he says, "I did it and I will also be the one to wash the dishes." I look at Rose and say, "Did he make breakfast?" She nods her head and says, "He did." I sit down on a chair beside Rose and I wait until she gets done eating. Just as I was about to lay my head down on the table Brian says, "Do you want anything?"

I tell him that I'll have what Rose is having and then he gets up and begins to cook my breakfast. I smile at Rose and say to Brian, "Thank you." Brian turns around, shock written all over his face and he says, "Your welcome." He turns back around and he finishes my breakfast and he hands me my plate. I eat it all and then Brian takes my plate and he begins washing everything. I stand up walk over to Brian and say, "Thanks for watching Rose until I got back." Brian turns his head to look at me and he says, "No problem." I felt like I was in his way so I walked up to Rose and I say, "Want to go into our room now?" Rose nods her head, stands up and says to Brian, "Were going to be in our room, alright?" Brian half turns around and says, "Alright Rose."

Brian's P.O.V.

I was getting a little tired of Hunter hanging around me so I was planning on leaving to look for jobs. I got done washing the dishes and then I went into my room got my things and then I walked over to Rose and Hunter's room. Just as I was about to knock on the door I heard Rose talking but it sounded as if though she was on the phone with one of her brothers. I knocked on the door and it was Hunter who answered and I say, "I'm heading out to look for jobs." Hunter nods his head and he says, "Alright and just so you know there is a curfew." I sigh aloud and say in my head, 'Great another fucking thing to add.' Hunter turns around as if to acknowledge Rose and he says, "You need to be back by eleven."

I sigh aloud again and say, "Alright." I leave before Hunter can anything more and Owen was in his car waiting for me. I get in and say, "Thanks for picking me up." Owen nods his head and he says, "No problem. How is my sister?" I lay my head against the window and say, "She's doing well but Hunter is being a pain in my ass." Owen laughs at that and he says, "I'm sure he is." Owen began driving off and he says, "Where do you want to stop at first?"

I shrug my shoulders and say, 'Don't matter to me, I just want to get the hell out of there." Owen stops the car suddenly and he says, "What is Hunter doing?" I'm sure Owen thought that Hunter was doing something to Rose so I say, "He isn't doing anything to Rose, he just doesn't like me and he doesn't like that I'm living with them." Owen begins driving again and he says, "Good, because I would've been very angry if Hunter was hurting my sister." I know that Owen and his brothers were very protective of her, hell I don't know her that well and already I feel protective of her. I was deep in my thoughts that I didn't realize that Owen was talking to me until he began shaking me. I brought myself out of my thoughts and I hear him say, "Brian, we arrived at a few places that are hiring people."
