Forbidden Mates Ch. 44

Brian's P.O.V.

*Six months later*

I had found a very good job and a nice house to live in so I decided to leave early. I was packing up what little I had, already having brought some of my things to the house when somebody began knocking on my door. I placed a shirt I was folding on the bed and went to answer the door. When I opened it I was facing Rose; I let her in and she says, "Why must you leave a month early?" I smile slightly at her and say, "Because I have found a new place to live and also because Hunter doesn't like me." Rose points to herself and she says, "I like you." I grab her hand and say, "I like you too but I can't stay in somebody's house if they don't like me."

Just as Rose was about to say something else somebody clears their throat and the voice says, "Can you not touch my mate Brian?" I take my hand away from Rose's and he says, "Thanks...I hope you can come back soon." I look at Hunter in shock and he says, "I can tell that Rose likes having you around and for that, you can come by anytime." I smile at Rose, truly happy that she likes having me around. Hunter walks up behind Rose and he wraps his arms around her and she says, "Do you need help packing?" I look at what I have left to pack and then I look back at Rose and say, "I don't have much left so I can do it myself but thank you for asking." Rose nods her head and Hunter says to her, "Don't you think we should be leaving Brian alone to pack?"

Rose nods her head and she says to me, "We'll leave you alone alright?" I nod my head not really wanting her to leave but I also didn't want Hunter here. Rose and Hunter leave me to work on packing my things. An hour later I had everything packed so I grabbed my two bags and make my way towards the living room. Rose runs over to me and she hugs me tightly. I hug her back tightly and she whispers, "Hope you can come back soon." I smile and say, "I'll come back as soon as I can; in the meantime do you have a phone?" We let go of each other and she says, "For texting?" I nod my head and we exchange numbers.

Rose's P.O.V.

After Brian left it was quite boring without him, I'm sure Hunter noticed. I sat down on the couch and then Hunter came over and he pulled me onto his lap. I snuggled closer to him and I hear him say, "You know, I'm already missing that guy." I looked up at him and say, "I'm surprised; I thought you were glad to get rid of him." Hunter looks down at me and he says, "I thought so too but..." I smile and say, "You thought having him here would suck but you liked having him." Hunter lays his forehead against mine and he says, "Do you really have to rub it in my face?"

I knew he was kidding but for some reason I was offended by what he said. Hunter kisses my mouth making me come out of my thoughts; not that I didn't care and then I kiss him back. We were kissing for a while but then Hunter pulls away and he says, "Are you tired?" I was about to shake my head no because I wanted Hunter to kiss me more but then I yawned a couple of times before he says, "Let's go to bed, we can continue this tomorrow, alright?" I frown at him and say, "Not fair." Hunter chuckles and he says, "Calm down." I wrap my arms around Hunter and say, "Take me away."

Hunter picks me up and he says, "Right away." I snuggled into Hunter more and we arrived into our room where Hunter placed me on the bed. He turns out the light and then he comes over to me and he gets in bed too. I tried to sleep but being fully clothed made it impossible to so I tried getting out of bed but then Hunter grabs me. He pulls me on top of him and he says after kissing me, "Where do you think your going?" I laugh and say, "My mate forgot about changing my clothes for me." Hunter pats me down as if to see if I'm telling the truth and he says, "Shit I did; well you have two choices; one, stay in your clothes or two, get naked with me." I laugh at that and say, "Well, can you undress me?" I'm sure if I could see Hunter's face, he would have hunger in his eyes and he says, "Alright, I can do that."
