Forbidden Mates Ch. 40

Rose's P.O.V.

After it was decided that Brian would stay with us for a while Aiden says, "How about, to give you two some alone time, I take Brian to his dad's house so he can pack his things and then I will bring him to your house, alright?" Hunter sighs and says, "That's fine." Then Hunter and I get up off the couch and I hug my brother's again. We leave heading for the truck and when we got inside Hunter says, "I can't believe we have to let him stay in our house." I grab Hunter's hand in mine and I say, "It won't be for too long, alright?" Hunter squeezes my hand a little and he begins driving off. We arrived at our house and we went inside.

We quickly went into our bedroom and Hunter shoves me gently into the wall and we begin kissing each other. We stayed like that against the wall until we heard somebody knock on the door. Hunter growls loudly and he says, "Tell me why I decided to let this guy live here for a while?" I kiss him and say, "Because he's a nice guy and he helped you find me." Hunter kisses me back and I say before it gets out of hand, "We need to go answer the door." Hunter sighs and he moves away from me and towards the bedroom door and then he holds out his hand and he says, "Let's go." I smile big, run over to him, take his hand in mine and we make our way to the front door.

We arrived at the door and Hunter was the one who opened up the door. It was Aiden and Brian that were standing there and Aiden says, "Should we come at a different time?" Hunter shakes his head and he says, "No its fine." Aiden and Brian both come inside and Brian says, "Where am I going to sleep at?" Hunter glares at Brian and he says, "Do you not know your manners?" Brian glares back at Hunter and he says, "If Rose wasn't here I would kick your ass." I get in front of Hunter thinking that a fight was about to start and I didn't want it to happen but then Hunter places a hand on my shoulder and he says to me, "I'm not going to do anything." I get behind Hunter again and Brian says, "Can you please show me my room?"

Hunter's P.O.V.

I could already tell that I wasn't going to like this guy; he was a smartass piece of shit that needed to be taught some manners. I grab Rose's hand and I say, "Follow me." I lead shithead, oh I meant Brian, to his new room and when we arrived in front of his door Aiden says, "I have to leave now; Rose can you come with me and Brian be nice." Rose let's go of my hand and she follows Aiden and I'm left with Brian. I open up the door and when Brian gets inside I say, "Unpack your shit and meet me in the kitchen, we have some rules that need to be said." I don't give Brian anytime to speak because I'm heading out the door already and when I arrived in the living room Rose was already coming back in. I grab her hands and I say to her, "This guy is driving me crazy already!"

Rose squeezes my hands and she says, "It'll be fine, besides just give Brian a day to move out and if he doesn't then Aiden will tell him to leave." I nod my head and say, "Fine, how long do you think he should be here?" Rose shrugs her shoulders and says, "Don't know, but Aiden said that we should give him at least five maybe six months." Hunter nods his head and he says, "Alright, I'll give him seven months." Right after I said that Brian comes out and says, "What about seven months?" I turned around to face Brian and say, "You have seven months to find a job and a house." Brian nods his head and says, "Thank you."

I point to the couch and say, "Sit." After he sits down Rose and I sit down, her on my lap. I wrap my arms around her and I say, "Okay rules...number one, no smartass remarks; number two, when I ask you to do something do it; number three, be nice to Rose; and lastly, never talk back to me, ever." Brian nods his head and he says, "I'll do my best to follow your rules." I kiss Rose on the neck mostly because I wanted to see if Brian would do something. I look up at Brian and I see that he's looking at the ground. Good, at least he didn't say anything.
