Forbidden Mates Ch. 18

Hunter's P.O.V.

After Lily had finished eating, I grabbed the plate and fork off the table. I went over to the sink and washed them. 

"Thank you for the food." I hear Lily say.

"No problem, have you gotten enough to eat and are you tired?" I ask.

"I'm stuffed and yes I am very tired." She answers.

I finished the dishes, turned around and saw that Lily was standing up like she was waiting for me. I motion for her to follow me and she does. I take her to a guest bedroom and walk in. I flip the light switch on and Lily walks in. 

"Have a goodnight, if you need anything let me know." I tell her before walking out.

I close the door behind me and head back to the living room. The front door opens and dad walks in. He's been trying to pick up Rose's scent.

"Anything?" I ask.

Dad shakes his head. "Trail runs cold, due to it raining." He answers.

"Thanks for trying." I tell him.

"So where is the woman at?" Dad asks.

"She's asleep." Hope answers for me.

I sigh a little. "Look, I'm going to check on Lily make sure she's actually asleep and then I'm going to bed myself." I announce. 

I left the living room and went to the bedroom that I had put Lily in. I opened the door slightly and peeked in. The light in the hallway had pooled into the bedroom and I was able to see her under the comforter. I shut the door and went down the end of the hallway into my room. I shut the door, kicked off my shoes and then I laid on top of my bed. 

I close my eyes and Rose popped into my thoughts. I wondered how she was doing right now and if Lily's mate had given her a meal to eat and a bed to sleep on. I turn over to my side, closed my eyes and tried to get some sleep.

Rose's P.O.V. 

After Andy had given me a room to sleep in, I had tried to fall asleep but I couldn't no matter how hard I tried. I got out of the room and walked to the living room where I saw Jamie watching television. I stopped walking forward and turned around to go back into the bedroom.

"I don't bite." I hear Jamie announce. 

I turn around and peek out from the hallway to see that Jamie was staring at me. I walked into the living room and sat down at the far end of the couch away from Jamie. 

"Can't sleep either?"I ask him.

"Haven't been able to sleep much since your mate captured my sister." He replies. 

It made sense why he was unable to sleep. I hear the floor creak so I turn my head towards the direction the noise came from and I saw Andy making his way into the living room. 

"I guess no one except for the cat can sleep." Andy says.

Andy walks over to us and he sits by Jamie. A movie pops up on the television, it looked boring at first until it got to the middle where all the gory stuff started and then it got really good. 

It was seven o'clock when Andy got up off the couch. 

"You guy's hungry for some breakfast?" He asks. 

I just nod my head. 

"I could really go for some bacon." Jamie says.

Andy heads to the kitchen and I could hear some rustling noises and then a pan drops onto the floor. I cup my ears and I could still hear the noise echoing in my ears. 

"Sorry about that guys." Andy says.

I hear sizzling noises coming from the kitchen and I began to smell bacon being cooked. It made my stomach growl a little. A phone began to ring and then it stops, I could hear Andy talking to someone but I couldn't make out what was being said. 

"We are going to meet in the park in an hour." Andy announces. 

Boo jumps onto the couch and then she climbs on my lap and lays down. I began to stroke her fur and she purred loudly. It didn't last long though when a can was being opened and then she jumps down heading towards the kitchen. 

"Breakfast is ready you two." Andy calls out.

Jamie and I both got up and went to the table. I pulled out a chair and sat down. Andy brings two plates over and puts one down in front of me and then to Jamie with forks sitting on them. Andy grabs a plate and he sits down at the table as well. 

After we ate, the three of us went outside towards a car. All of us got in and Andy drove off to the park. When we got there, I saw Hunter and Drake standing in front of the swings. Andy pulls into a parking spot and we got out. I see a young woman on a swing. 

"Alright Rose, you can start walking to your mate." Andy tells me.

I start walking and I see the woman that was on the swing started walking towards me. We met in the middle and she hugged me. After the hug, I walked over to Hunter and Drake. I hugged Hunter and after the hug he led me to the car. He opened the car door for me but I didn't get in right away, I look to my right and see that Andy was hugging and kissing his mate. 

I smile at that, they look so happy and relieved to see each other. I was about to get in when I saw Andy and Lily walk off towards their car with Jamie following closely behind. I turn my head to look at Hunter and smile at him before finally getting into the car. Both of the guys get in as well and Drake drove off. We arrived home and when I got out of the car, Hope came running out of the house. Both of the guys got out as well and they shut the car doors. 

Hope hugs me. "I am so glad you're alright, Rose." She tells me.

"Aw, thank you." I say.

After the hug, we went inside the house. Drake shuts the front door after we were all inside. 

"Rose, I just want you to know I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left you alone." Drake says.
