Forbidden Mates Ch. 49

Hunter's P.O.V.

Rose came back with Ash so I say, "Everybody already left." I see that Ash is nodding his head and he says, "I'll leave then." Ash smiles at Rose and he leaves the house. A few minutes later I hear a car door slam and then I hear a car drive off. I stand up off the couch and I grab Rose and I take her to the couch. We sit down on it with Rose on my lap and I kiss her gently. She lays her head on my shoulder and I say, "You excited to meet my brothers' mates?" Rose nods her head and she says, "I am."

A few minutes later somebody began knocking on the door; Rose stands up and begins to walk towards the door when I grab her. I push her on the couch gently and I head towards the door. I open the door to find Connor and Marie standing there. I let them in and Connor says, "Were the first here?" I nod my head and Marie heads over to sit on the couch beside Rose. Connor and I sit on the couch too with our mates on our laps. Two hours later I hear several cars pull up so I get Rose to get off my lap and I head to the door. I look out the window first and I saw my brother's walking with their mates.

I open up the door and Ash says, "Happy to see us?" I roll my eyes and say, "Get in." I move slightly so they can come in and Ash says, "Rose? We have brought our mates." I close the door and I see Rose standing up so I walk up to her and I put an arm around her. I look down at Rose and I see that she's unsure of what's going on so I squeeze her shoulder gently. She looks up at me and smiles as if she knew that I was trying to comfort her. Ash smiles at me and he says while putting an arm around his mate, "This is Karen, my mate." I look down at Rose again and I see her smiling at Karen as she says, "Hi Karen, my name is Rose." Karen smiles back at Rose and she says, "I know, Ash talks about you a lot." Jacob clears his throat and he says, "I'm sure Rose would like to know everybody else's names before a long conversation." I swear Jacob needs to keep his mouth shut and before I can say anything the girl standing beside him says, "My name is Raven and Jacob be nice."

Rose's P.O.V.

Jacob was awfully rude to me and to everybody else and then Hunter says, "Jacob, I swear if you don't apologize all hell is going to break." Hunter walks up to Jacob and he grabs Jacob's shirt and Hunter says, "Apologize now." Jacob looks at me and says, "I'm sorry Rose, Hunter and everybody else." I nod my head and then Hunter let's go of Jacob's shirt and he walks up to me. He puts his arm around me and he says, "Dominic your mate can say her name now." Dominic nods his head and his mate says, "My name is Jessica but you can call me Jess." I nod my head and Hunter says, "Alright now that we have said names, I'll show you where your rooms are at."

Hunter kisses the top of my head before he takes his brothers and their mates to their rooms. Marie stays behind to keep me company and she says, "That was my first time meeting their mates too." I nod my head and then Connor and Hunter come back. Everybody else comes back a few minutes later and Hunter says, "So why did you guys come here? Was it just to introduce your mates?" All of Hunter's brothers nod their heads at once and Jacob says, "Sounds right." Hunter pulls me on the couch and he says, "Sit down guys." They all sit down and Dominic says, "So what are we doing?"

Hunter shrugs his shoulders and he says, "Don't know, I think we'll be going to bed soon." I yawn a little and Hunter says, "Or maybe were going to bed now." Hunter stands up with me in his arms and he takes me into our room. He sits me on the bed and he grabs a shirt for me and he puts it on me. I grab Hunter and I kiss him on the lips and then he takes off his clothes but his boxers. Hunter pulls out a blanket and then he picks me up and he places me in the bed. He puts the blanket on me and then he heads over to the light switch and he turns it off and he walks back to me. Hunter gets in bed and he says, "You happy about today?" I look up at Hunter and say, "I am, except for the part when Jacob was being an ass." Hunter laughs at that and he says, "That's true, it was peaceful until he opened his mouth." After a while of talking I began to get more tired so I say, "I'm going to sleep now."
