Forbidden Mates Ch. 20

Rose's P.O.V.

I move away from Hunter and I walk forward. I stop though, this all felt like a dream to me. 

"Rose, is that you?" My older brother Aiden says.

I just nod my head. I felt like I wouldn't be able to make full complete sentences. I had tears running down my face when Aiden came over to me. 

"It is you." Aiden says reaching to touch my face. 

It felt to me like my brother was checking to see if I was really here or not. I reached up and cupped my brother's hand in mine. 

"I'm here Aiden, I'm real." I say trying to reassure him.

I hugged Aiden tightly and when I let go of him, I could see him looking at Hunter. 

"Who the hell is this?" Aiden asks.

I turn my head to look at Hunter. I wasn't sure if I should say that Hunter is my mate or my boyfriend. 

"I'm her boyfriend." Hunter replies for me.

Aiden doesn't look too happy. "Come on, let's go inside." He mumbles. 

Both Aiden and Dylan start walking to the house. Hunter puts an arm around my waist and we followed them inside. All of my brothers were sitting on the couch when we walked in. They were watching a hockey game on the television. 

"Hey guys, guess who's here." Aiden says. 

All of them turned around at the same time.

"Rose, your here?!" Phoenix yells out.

I nod my head. "I really am here." I say. 

They all began to smile but then their smiles became frowns. 

"Who the hell is that?" Miles asks pointing at Hunter. 

"Apparently that's Rose's boyfriend Hunter." Aiden tells them. 

Riley, Miles and Owen all looked at each other. 

"Since when?!" The three of them yell out. 

"For a while now and it's nice to finally meet you guys, I've heard so much about you." Hunter says. 

"How would you three feel about staying here for dinner?" Aiden asks.

I see Dylan shrugging his shoulders. "Up to these two." He replies gesturing to Hunter and I.

"Up to you Rose." I hear Hunter whisper. 

"We would love to stay." I say. 

I could tell that my brothers were happy that we were going to stay for a while longer. Aiden heads to the kitchen and begins to prepare something for dinner. I went to the kitchen to help out.

"Sit down Hunter. You like watching hockey?" I hear Phoenix ask.

"Yeah I do actually." Hunter replies. 

After we ate dinner, we left my brothers' house and Dylan's guys took his home. The limo pulls up in front of our house. Hunter and I got out and we got out onto the porch steps before a door opened up from behind us. Both Hunter and I turn around to see that Dylan was standing in front of the limo. 

"I'm sorry we had to meet like this but I hope that we can end things on a good note and I honestly cannot wait to see you two again." Dylan announces. 

Before any of us had the chance to say anything, Dylan gets back into the limo. The limo drives off so Hunter and I head inside. Victor was sitting at the couch waiting for us to get back. He gets off the couch and stares at us. 

"What happened? Where did you two go?" He asks.

"To visit my family." I answer. 

Victor nods his head. "That's good Rose, I'm glad you got to visit them." He says.

"Anything happen while we were gone?" Hunter asks.

Victor scratches the back of his head. "Yeah about that." He says.

Four men walked out of the hallway and into the living room. I had this urge to hide behind Hunter but I fought it. Hunter puts an arm around my waist and he pulls me closer to him as if he could sense my uneasiness.

"Rose, these are my brothers and guys, this is my Rose." Hunter says. 

I waved shyly at them; I would've talked but I was afraid of what would come out and I didn't want to make a fool out of myself. They smiled and waved back. 

"So how long have you guys been here?" Hunter asks.

"Half an hour ago." One of them answers.
