Forbidden Mates Ch. 21

Rose's P.O.V.

"Anybody hungry?" Victor asks. 

Everybody including Hunter had said that they were hungry. I was the only one that had said that I wasn't. Victor went into the kitchen along with Hunter's brothers. I pulled myself away from Hunter's grasp and I turned to face him.

"I'm going to lay down." I informed him.

Hunter leaned forward and kissed my cheek. "Alright, enjoy your nap and I'll join you later." He says.

I kiss him back on the cheek and then I walked out the living room, into the the hallway and stopped in front of our bedroom. 

"Is Rose okay?" I hear Victor ask.

"She's fine, she's just tired." I hear Hunter reply.

I opened the bedroom door and walked in shutting it behind me. I got undressed and put my pajamas on. I tossed the clothes into the basket and climbed into bed. I pulled the comforter over my body and fell into a deep sleep. 

I woke up later on, rolled over to the right and saw that Hunter was asleep. I pushed the comforter off the bed and sat up. I looked at the alarm clock on the dresser and saw that it was eight o'clock in the morning. 

I opened the bedroom door and walked out into the hallway. I had gotten to the end of the hallway when I heard men talking in the kitchen. I was hungry for breakfast but I didn't want to sit with people I didn't know. I started backing up when I came in contact with someone. 

"You're in my way." A male voice says.

I quickly moved out of the way and noticed that it was one of Hunter's brothers. He was a foot and a half taller than me, he had black hair to his shoulders, he was wearing dark blue jeans and a black plain t-shirt. He had several tattoos but I wasn't able to get a good look at them unless I got closer to him.

"You heading to the kitchen for breakfast?" He asks.

I was about to shake my head when my stomach growled. 

"I'm not hungry." I say lying. 

"We won't bite. My brothers and I want to get to know you." He says.

He walked around me then and then proceeded to walk out of the hallway.

"What's your name?" I call out.

"Connor. Now are you coming or not?" He asks.

I decided to follow him into the kitchen where the rest of Hunter's brothers were sitting at the table. All of them were dressed for the day and here I was in my pajamas. I had hoped that no one had noticed I was here so I could sneak back into my bedroom. I had made it into the living room and I was nearly into the hallway.

"Rose, come back and join us." Connor announces.

I stopped in my tracks and noticed that Connor and his brothers all turned to look at me. 

"I...uh...was going to go change." I say.

"Don't worry about it." One of the guys' at the table said. 

I took a deep breath and decided to walk back to the kitchen. There was an empty chair so I went towards it, pulled it out and sat down. The other guys besides myself and Connor were eating breakfast. I looked down at my hands and began picking at the dry skin. 

I was beyond nervous, a little scared, and I so badly wanted to make myself small. It didn't help my nerves either when nobody was talking; it felt like they were staring at me. 

I heard a plate being placed down on the table so I stopped picking at my skin and lifted my eyes up to see that there was plate sitting in front of me. I looked up and I saw that Connor was opening the fridge and he pulled something out. It was a bottle of water and he placed down in front of the plate. 

"Thank you." I say.

"Welcome and don't be afraid to tell me if it doesn't taste good." Connor tells me.

When I got done eating, all of the guys were still seated at the table and Hunter still hadn't shown up. The guys were talking about a hockey game they saw on the television. After the guys had ran out of thing to talk about, they stood up and began pushing the chairs in. 

"Could you guys possibly tell me your names?" I ask.

"Sure." The guy to the left of me answered.

"Because I only know Connor's name." I quickly blurt out.

"Well, I'm Jacob." The same guy that was to the left of me says.

Jacob was bald, he was the same height as Connor, he was wearing blue jeans and he was wearing a black short sleeved shirt that had a red dragon on it. 

"I'm Dominic." The guy next to Jacob mumbles.

I noticed right off the bat that all these guys were the same height as Connor. He had black spiky hair, he was wearing a black tank top and dark blue jeans. 

"I'm Ash." The guy standing by Connor says.

He had black spiky hair with red tips at the end, he was wearing a black t-shirt that had Linkin Park's logo on it and black jeans that had holes in them. 

I stood up from the chair and smiled at them. 

"Thank you for introducing yourselves." I announced.
