Rose's P.O.V.
"Yeah, I'll get you a comb." Hunter says.
He walks by me and heads into the bathroom. I saw a cabinet underneath the sink and he opens it. He pulls out a comb and he places it on the sink.
"There you go." He says.
"Thank you." I say.
I turn around and walk over to the sink and I grabbed the comb off the sink. I began to comb my hair.
"So are we doing anything today?" I ask.
"I was thinking if you are not going to run off, that I could take you out for new clothes." Hunter replies.
I finished combing my hair and placed the comb on the sink.
"You serious?" I question.
"About what?" Hunter asks confused.
"Taking me out shopping." I reply.
"Of course I am, just don't go running off because I will catch you." He says.
I walked out of the bathroom and went over to the bed. I sat down and grabbed my shoes. My socks were stuffed in the right shoe so I pulled them out and put them on my bare feet.
"I'm going to get breakfast started. Don't try and run off." Hunter says.
I didn't say anything but it was getting really annoying hearing him telling me not to run off. I untied my shoes and slipped my feet into them. I looked over to the right and noticed that Hunter was still in the same spot.
"Can I help you?" I ask.
"Don't run off." He replies.
He opens the bedroom door and walks out into the hallway. Did he think I didn't hear him? I tied my shoes and then I stood up off the bed. I turned around to face the bed and fixed the blanket.
I walked out of the bedroom and made my way to the kitchen. Hunter was putting the two plates on the table when I walked in.
"Look who decided to make their presence known." He says.
I went to the fridge and opened it. I grabbed the apple juice and then out of the corner of my eye, I saw Hunter pull out two glasses from the cabinet and he places them on the counter in front of me.
After pouring the juice into the two glasses, Hunter takes them and places them on the table. I put the juice back into the fridge and when I turned around, Hunter was pulling a chair back. He motioned for me to come over so I do.
"Sit down." He orders.
I went over to the chair he had pulled out for me and I sat down. He went over to the other side and sat down as well. I picked up the fork, cut up a few pieces and just as I was about to stab a piece; I felt someone staring at me. I look up and see that Hunter is staring at me.
"What are you staring at?" I ask.
Hunter shrugs his shoulders and lowers his head to begin eating his food. I sigh a little and then I go back to eating as well.
"Rose?" I hear Hunter say my name.
I look up to see that he's staring at me again.
"Yeah?" I question.
"I'm sorry if I made you upset by staring. I can't help it though because you are very beautiful." He says.
I smile at him. "I'm not beautiful but thank you." I tell him.
I saw an angry expression appear on Hunter's face but then as quickly as it appeared, it disappeared. I ignored it and focused on finishing the breakfast.
After I finished, I noticed that Hunter didn't touch his food. I wonder if he wasn't hungry or if he was angry at someone or something.
"Are you going to eat?" I ask.
"Not hungry." He mumbles.
He stands up from his chair and tosses the food into the trash can. After he puts the plate on the counter, he walks away. I looked over at the front door, it looked awfully tempting but I wanted to find out why Hunter was so angry.
"I'm going to shower." He says before walking away again.
I was surprised that he didn't tell me to follow or to not run off. I decided to follow him to see if I could get some answers. I walked through the hallway and into his bedroom. The shower was on already when I walked through the room.
I went over to the bed and sat down. The water stops running so I knew that he was done with the shower. The bathroom door opens and he comes out wearing dark blue jeans only.
"Rose, what are you doing in here?" He asks.
"I want to talk to you." I reply trying not to stare.
