Jordan's POV

I sat there, looking straight into his eyes speechless for a while before I could gain my senses again and speak again

''Kyle you have to come see this man'' Kyle's friends said coming over when I was clearing my throat to speak and pulling him towards the group that were sitting at the corner laughing, then Mrs Potter came over to rubbing my shoulders and just like that the moment was ruined

''How are you baby?'' She said sitting to the spot where Kyle was proclaiming his love for me

''I'm good, just the feet, back and the exhaustion "I said smiling at her

''Don't worry, only a few months left than you will get to see that precious bundle of Joy, can I ask you something just private between me and you'' She asked suddenly I gestured for her to go on

''Did Kyle know you were pregnant? I mean when you came for the first time did he know "She asked and I just sighed

''No he didn't, I also didn't know that he owned the company I just applied there, taking a risk and hoping for the best then the day I collapsed at my desk that's when he found out' 'i said remember how hurt and angry he was

"oh honey, but I think it's a good idea that you came there" she said suddenly getting up and bidding her goodbye, I was stuck dumbfounded as to the reason she said that but I choose to ignore it. I was starting to feel tired and falling asleep until they turned off the music and gathered around me, including Kyle's friends

"Thanks to all you guys who made it and the gifts" Kyle slurred sitting beside me and holding my hand

"C'mon Kyle it's our pleasure, plus I had a great time being present for my best friend's baby shower" Evie said smiling and making me feel a little guilty because there she is attending to special day and helping organize it where as I did not even attend to even a single ceremony

"hey Dude remember how close they were in high school, they were forever together , they even looked alike" Dan said laughing , noticing my sour expression and trying to lighten the mood. Everyone started laughing and remember the high school days , sharing them with Sarah

"And can I say one thing Jay, I know it's all in the past now but I just want to clear it up. I was not involved in that scheme of attacking you with spoilt eggs honestly" He said talking about that dreaded day at prom say, making me reminisce of those bad memories

"Ashley and her minions were the only masterminds, I hated that day , I still do" Evie said looking sad and the whole mood changed

"yea, the day my sister left for whole nine years without saying anything, she just up and left without knowing why but it has to be more than just being attacked with rotten eggs, there is more to that" Keera said suddenly and they began mumbling the 'yea'

"and I still want to know why, what happened that night that you just up and left Jo" Keera said, tear threatening to spill off her eyes, they were all looking at and Evie nodding to what Keera was saying and asking why too. Suddenly seeing all of them looking at me I felt that I was at the school again drenched in rotten eggs, his face, his laughter, the darkness, my screams ....it all came crushing down on me like I was there again and I could handle it as tears starting spilling from my eyes, panic lacing in my face and my whole trembling again

"STOP!! Just stop please" I screamed, tears streaming down my face , I got up preparing to go upstairs quickly stumbling on my way there and pushing whoever trying getting in my way until I got to my room and I just cried.....
