Chapter 18

Jordan’s POV

Opening the door was the handsome Mark wearing a black wife beater and khaki shorts, I stood there gaping, maybe also drooling, this guy is delicious

'' Ahem Are you going to stand there and drool the whole day or are you going to come in?'' he said smiling and tilting his head sideways. I smiled embarrassed and walked in but before I could even walk in the living room he pulled my arm towards and kissed me passionately, the kiss was so long and intense  that I had to pull off because I was losing my breath. We were both breathing heavily and his lips were a bit swollen from the kiss

''Welcome back'' he said kissing my palm. I blushed and let go off his hand and we went to the living room

'' So when did you get back here?'' he asked getting two glasses and a bottle of wine, he set the glasses and started pouring the wine on each glass, he looked at me curiously then I remembered that he asked a question

'' Uhm two days ago'' I said clearing my throat, I internally debating with myself whether or not to drink this wine. When he started pouring the other glass I stopped him

'' Can I rather have water please'' I said before he would pour some. I felt relieved and relaxed a bit after he went to the kitchen. He came back and produced a glass of water. I thanked him and drank my water. He sat next to me, really close and began playing with my hair

''I really missed you'' He said moving closer to closer that we were just inches away, and he began rubbing my arm and began putting soft gentle kisses on my neck

'' Is the food ready, I’m starving'' I said distracting him and shifting away from me

'' Oh, I didnt cook anything, let me just order something, what do you want?'' he said walking to the hallway where the phone was placed

'' Pizza should be fine'' I said peeking at the hallway. 

'' Chicken or beef?'' he asked appearing again 

'' Beef'' I said, I don’t feel like I’ll ever eat chicken again after that horrible smell. Mark went further down the hallway to place an order and while he was not in sight I was planning and practicing what I am going to say and how I am going to put it. He came back with a cheese sandwich and juice...

'' I could have waiting for the pizza you know?'' I said taking the sandwich in his hand 

 ‘‘Nah it’s no hassle, when my lady is starving, my lady should get food'' he said and I instantly blushed. I took a bite of my sandwich and it was really delicious, he looked straight at me while I was eating

‘‘What'' I asked while I chewed, I had to ask because he was freaking me out

'' No, it’s nothing I’m just admiring your beauty'' He said smiling and tilting his head to the side, ' Man this guy is good with words, he can get any girl he wants and I’m certainly not that beautiful so why me?' I asked myself, I shook the though off my head and focused on the task at hand, I was done with my sandwich so I went to the kitchen to put my place. When I came back he was sitting where I was previously sitting and told me to sit next to him. I said there and he pulled me to his chest

''Now where were we'' he said in a husky tone, his eyes full on hunger and lust, he pushed my hair to the side and began kissing me from the shoulders and going up

''No, wait I have to tell you something'' I said, my voice barely audible, my eyes closed, his kisses were pulling me towards him

''It can wait, I miss this, and I miss you'' he said in a whisper still kissing me. I finally pulled away and looked straight at him. He looked at me with a bewildered expression

'' I really have to tell you something Mark'' I said trying to catch my breath

‘‘You can tell me after this babe, you know how long I’ve been waiting for this, you drive me crazy Jordan'' he said, his guy was really turned on. Everything of him has changed from the moment he opened the door for me his gaze with intense, his tone of voice were most raspy and huskier.

'' Come here babe'' he said pulling me again and I said something that still him, in fact everything around him because I couldn’t hear the music that was playing anymore, even the ticking of the clock. Everything went still

''I’m Pregnant'' Those were the words that froze everything. He sat still, looking straight in my eyes without even blinking he face just went pale and it frightened me a bit because he did not move at all, he went stationary, until the sound of the door bell brought him back, 

'''I’ll get the pizza'' he got up and went to the kitchen with no words or anything, honestly I didn’t know what to do, because he was really scarring me. He came back with the pizza in his hand but his facial expression was still the same

''What?'' He asked looking at me

''I’m pregnant Mark'' I said, tears spilling down my face, damn these hormones, one sensitive topic and I’m already in tears

''But how?'' He asked again, this time he was holding a box of toilet paper and he gave them to me

'' I’m almost 3week, it was before I met you'' I said wiping my tears

''So it is your ex's?'' he asked again

'' Yeah'' I lied  sobbing and trying to clear my throat 

 ‘‘Have you told him?'' He asked 

''Not yet, He doesn’t know'' I said looking down. Kyle is another obstacle that I really need to overcome, the biggest obstacle

'' So you want this child, you are going to keep it?'' he said and I looked up at him, what does he mean I’m going to keep it? That’s the reason I told him because I’m planning on keeping it no matter the circumstances

'' Yeah, that’s why I’m telling you'' I said as if it’s the most obvious thing

'' I did not plan on having a child any time soon you know, kids were my long term goals'' She said looking at me 

''Look I did not intend on this happening but what’s done is done, there is nothing I can do, and I intend on keeping it, I want to raise this child. I can’t harm something that does not know anything Mark'' I said with tears in my eyes 

'' So what are we going to do, because I like you a lot Jordan, and I want to build my future with you but I don’t think I will stand seeing some guy around you, to see that kid'' He said bitterly.

'' I’m a jealous person Jordan, I’m as jealous as hell'' He said at me, with anger evident in his tone of voice. After those words I felt a pang of hurt, I knew in my mind that he would back out but my heart told me something else. 

'' So what are we going to do?'' I said breathless , I avoided looking into his eyes because I didn’t think he would say that Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like Mark, I really do like him, and his words just bought back all the hurt I felt from James and all the others

'' So what are we gonna do?'' I said to him now looking straight into his eyes

“I don’t know, I really like you, I mean I’m falling in love with you" he said and I just looked in his eyes, he is really confusing me because he says he wants to build a future with me but will not accept the father of my child when he is around. 

"You know what? let's just give it time, we will see where this will take us “He said smiling and wiping my tears. Then he kissed me gently and from that time everything was good between us for the rest of the day
