Chapter 42

JORDAN’S POV

Two weeks later

I emerged from the bathroom feeling exhausted and irritated mainly because I was past my due date, a week to be exact and I was not the most cheerful person at the moment. that night I confessed my love to Kyle he took me to his room and we made out the whole night, we couldn’t do anything else due to my huge bump blocking but Kyle didn’t mind even though he was hard so now we are all sitting on the couch watch a movie, I kept quiet the whole time just smiling at Hailey and turning a grim and sour look towards everyone

“Are you okay mommy?” Dan said looking at me and just ticked me

“IM FINE!!!WHAT EXACTLY MAKES YOU THINK IM NOT FINE BECAUSE LIFE IS JUST PEACHY” I said gritting my teeth and glaring straight at him , he just raised his hands in defense walking out of the dining room followed by Sarah , tugging Hailey by the arm, Kyle just looked at the TV not even sparing once glance at me just concentrating on the movie, I looked at him feeling sad because these couple of days when I  have theses outbursts he just goes quiet and can ignore me for hours even days . I scooted closer to him where he pulled me between his legs and began kissing my neck while caressing the baby bump

“I’m sorry  babe” he said whispering in my ear , I didn’t need t ask him why he was apologizing because I knew why, he was just pitying me and understood how uncomfortable everything now is  I cant even sleep peacefully with all the tossing and turning just to find a better position

“I just want to give birth already” I said , I felt like crying because I was tired and every part of my body was tired and aching, he just whispered “I Know”,  then after a while when he was back in deep concentration on the movie I slowly pulled the remote and changed the channel to animation, he pulls the remote back and begins tickling me

Kyle  you idiot , you know I have a  weak bladder than you tickle me I was running, rather wobbling back to the bathroom hearing Kyle roaring in laughter. After I was done with my business ,  washing my hand I felt paddle of water on the floor and my dress was wet

‘wait, I just went to pee, how com-‘ I thought as realization dawned on me

“KYLE, SARAH” I yelled standing in one place. Kyle came up first looking at me  then the wet floor with a confused face then his eyes widening noticing what is happening

Sarah stood behind jumping up and down with joy

“Your water just broke”

I was now in the hospital bed in my pink gown and a heart beat monitoring belt around my waist, I have  felt a tiny pinch of pain so I was still far from the labor process, Kyle was looking through the window very quiet glancing at me then the window and answering only what I asked him

“Can you please call Dan and Sarah in here, i'm sure they can be  better company because you are scaring me more with your awkward quietness and nervous glances” I said after a while of utter silence . He just looked at me then walking out  and coming back with Dan and Sarah

“hey pup, what’s up” Dan said coming and sitting next to me

“I wanted you guys to keep me company because ‘brother’ over there has been mute and scaring the shit  out of me more” I said pointing at Kyle who was back to looking outside the window, Dan made a snide remark about him having a girl again but he just looked at him and back to the window oblivious to what was happening around him

“Dude  what’s your problem honestly” I said feeling irritated and annoyed because I was the one who will be giving birth and not him

“what I forcefully induced your labor when I was tickling you, what if I hurt the baby in some way” He said coming towards me looking like he is about to cry, so that’s why he was this quiet? He was scared that he hurt the baby while tickling me, I just giggled a bit because it was cute and kissed his palm , relaxing him

“No silly, you did nothing this baby is just stubborn she just wants to-AHHHHHHHHHHH” I screamed , with the jolt of pain around my abdomen, this was more painful than the ones I felt before and more excruciating contraction came after the other where I felt like I could just get up and drink all the pain meds that are at this hospital

“AAAHHHH Mommy” I cried as I felt another jolt of pain , the doctor walked in with a smile and ushered Dan and Sarah  out saying it was time

“Okay Jordan I wan you to push in 3,2…” She said , and I pushed, feeling like this baby is pulling my intestines down with her ,I gave one last push just like the doctor asked and all of a sudden I felt nothing, all the pain gone to be brought back to reality by a faint cry of a baby before it became louder and louder

“Aaaawww , there is your beautiful baby girl” the doctor said showing me a chubby wailing black hair girl covered in a pink towel with her eyes closed , I shed a tear of joy looking at my baby girl

“Hi there princess” We said and they took her to get her cleaned up

I woke up in a hospital bed  then turn to my left to see Kyle carrying our baby girl, looking straight her without uttering a word, he looked up and saw me up

“She’s got my eyes”  he said looking at me , tears threaten to fall down his face , he stood up and gave me my baby girl , I just looked at her just like Kyle did, in pure happiness and awe , Keera walked in and just  gasped and closed her mouth with her hand, tears beaming at the edge of each eye

“So what is her name?” Dan asked looking at Kyle and me then back to the little bundle of joy

“Elizabeth,Annah Matthew” I said looking back her , I took my mom’s name Elizabeth and Keera’s also name Anna , making her cry some more .Hailey came a little late smiling and looking at her younger sister in total awe and adoration
