Chapter 21

Kyle's P0V

It’s been a week and a half since I had that passionate night with Jordan and I can’t seem to get her off my mind, Her face when she was sitting on the bar watching that couple, that look of longing and being loved were evident, This girl just appeared out of nowhere after nine years and how she looked at me when we kissed 

''Dude you have been day dreaming a lot these couple of days, what’s up?'' Daniel asked and he shook me with a little force, we were having lunch together at the local restaurant t hat he likes 

'' Nah, it’s just the company down there'' I said, I am building another company downtown, but this one won’t be a factories but it will be another head office where the meetings and business related matters will be dealt with here

''No its something else, I know you, you are probably thinking about Catherine you sly dog'' He said smiling and nudging me, Catherine is the girl he has been setting me up with for the past weeks and we have been to 3 dates, to be honest the girl is beautiful, entertaining, someone I might like but I don’t feel the connection so I’m just going out with her to get Dan off my back. Today were the days of the training and I couldn’t be there when they introduce their applicants because I had to attend the parent-teacher meeting that day but now I’m going in to meet up with my partners and check how it has been going so far

'' Dude gotta go'' I said wearing my jacket and headed out the door. My new company is quite far, about an hour drive but I get there eventually and each room is crowded with people

'' Look at all these applicants'' One of my colleagues, Gabe says standing next to me

'' wow, I never thought they'd be this much'' I said astonished, I thought that when we tell the people that the training is free and they won’t be earning anything while training and that they'd be selected, I thought they would not come, well not this much

'' Yea, we are still eliminating and doing the individual interviews '' He said and we both went to the board room to meet up with the others

''Morning guys, how is everyone doing ''I said as I entered to room to find them with stacks of papers on each person

'' Morning'' They said and mumbling how they feel, I just chuckled and got closer to then

'' This one has got to go, too much mistakes'' Mrs. Potter one of my colleagues said mumbling to the others and I took a seat and looked outside the window at this beautiful city, but my mind thought back to Jordan , how can she leave the second time like that

''Jordan Carter'' Mrs. Potter said and I instantly jumped forgetting that I was holding a cup of coffee that was now splashed on the floor and my pants, everyone came to assist me but I was not  hurt it was only the pants because the coffee was now cool.

 '' I’m fine, what did you say Mrs. Potter?'' I asked looking down and wiping my pants 

 '' Me? I said I’m sorry'' She said looking at me and the others really dumbfounded

''No before the incident'' I was getting irritated, I am sure I heard her say Jordan Carter or is it my imagination

''I was talking alone sir, I was talking about the candidates'' She said pointing at the pile of papers 

'' Yea I know, just tell me what you said'' I said irritation evident in my voice

'' I said, my dynamite Gal, Jordan Carter sir'' She said taking a page of the candidate and giving it to me, I took it and looked at the photo of the candidate and everything went still. This was indeed the girl I slept with 2 weeks ago, the girl that ran from me 9 years ago, I felt a smile creep in my face but I wiped it away before the others would be suspicious
