Epilogue

JORDAN'S POV

7 Years later

I was sitting on the bench at the porch watching Kyle struggling with holding the hose that was flying and splashing water everywhere include him, Hailey giggling at the scene near her and Ellie on the floor laughing loudly. It has been seven years since Ellie was born and there has been changes since then, I am now Mrs. Kyle Matthews, yes me and Kyle are now married, he proposed three years ago

Flashback

"Okay guys I'm out" I yelled standing at the doorknob preparing to leave, carrying a picnic basket on my left and cooler box on my right. Kyle appeared giving me a small peck on the lips and walking back to the kitchen

"I have placed Hailey and Ellie's clothes on their beds and they should wear them please" I said back at Kyle, it was an annual school picnic so event parent has been invited for a fun day at the local park, I was involved in helping set out and check the park so I had to arrive there earlier with the other mothers

"Good day ladies" I said as I arrived at the park and started offloading all the necessities needed for today, Couple of hours later parents and kids began coming so I started reserving space for kyle and the kids and serving their meals in advance because everyone else was doing it. More families started coming and it was getting full but no sign of Kyle or the girls, I tried calling but he was not answering. It was now packed and fun activities were being played but I had to sit because they were not there yet

"Is your family on their way" one of the parent said coming to sit next to be, I just smiled and nodded, everyone was looking at me awkwardly because I was only the lone one then I decided to call Kyle again

"Where the hell are you?" I said immediately when he answered not waiting for him to reply

"Uhmm...We will be there in a couple of minutes " He hesitantly said before hanging up, I could tell that he was still inside the house because I could hear Ellie's favorite animation on the background I sighed, hoping I called Keera and Maya to join us, Keera was now married with a two year old daughter named Maya

After about what felt like hours, a familiar car parked and two girls emerging out waiting for their dad to lock the car, I looked at them as they were approaching and groaned annoyingly because they were not wearing the clothes I set out for them, the teacher requested that the kids wear yellow t-shirts and shorts and parents had to wear white t-shirts but they were all wearing black shirt that I've never seen

"Really guys what happened to the yello-" I was cut of my tracked when I read what the shirts wrote, there in white bold italics "Mommy will you marry our dad" I Hailey and Ellie's shirt and "will you marry me " On Kyle's one, I stood there agape trying to find the proper words that's when Kyle got down on one knee and took out a navy velvet that consisted of a 9 carat silver infinity ring with blue rubies in the middle, I gasped tears at the corner on my eyes with my hand on my mouth

"So, will you?" he said after a while of silence with me shocked, the attention was now on us with every parent looking at us in awe while others did not care. I just nodded beaming widely because honestly I could not utter a word, Kyle Slipped the metallic band on my finger the carried my to a hug and turning me around since we cannot kiss in front of al these kids"

End of flashback

We had an elegant yet simple wedding with only close friends and family, at the beach with me wearing a simple lace white dress that looked formal and casual at the same time with my loose curls being blown by the wind and white lilies on my hand, Keera was my maid of honor and Hailey looking so beautiful with her hair tied back, a white dress and sandals, Ellie's on the other hand being the attention seeker she was let her curly hair loose and wore green Wellington boots and protesting to walk alone at the alter whereas she had to walk besides her older sister, I swear this kid is as stubborn and cheeky with her tom-boyish character and very rough, Kyle says she took all my traits because I was just like her when I was younger and I see that too with Dan calling her Baby Jordan reincarnated

Now I was sitting down watching the scene unfold before me, rubbing my huge belly and sipping on my lemonade, and yes i'm pregnant again, this time with twin boys

"Jay, mind giving a hand here" Kyle said trying to grab hold of the hose and Dan trying to close the tap

"Kyle, Im carrying two people here, my feet are swollen and I take an hour to get to one destination, how if I might ask can help" I said looking at him with my legs stretched on the other chair, he just rolled his eyes and mumbled 'never mind'. Just then Charlie, the family dog broke loose, ran across the hole knotting it and pulling the tab that went flying up and water splashing everywhere and everyone. Ellie broke down. Rolling on the floor with laughter while her dad and uncle tried handling the broken tap soaking wet, I looked at all of them adoringly, this was my crazy family then I remembered the young Kyle telling the video camera that in 9 years time he wanted a business and about many kids and I guess his wish was granted plus a bonus
