Chapter 14

Jordan POV

The bus came to the final stop so I stood up and began unloading my luggage and headed out of the bus

'What am I gonna do here  ' I spoke more to myself. When I walked out. Luke was standing at the far corner with a bunch of roses and a big teddy bear. I walked over to him and gave him a tight hug that took longer than I expected because he couldn’t let go 

'' Wow you miss me that much?'' he said teasing me and taking my bags 

'' Shut up will you? Don’t spoil the moment'' I said grabbing the handbag and walking with him

‘‘So how was everything back there?'' he asked as we kept walking

''It was great. The reunion was great and I was beautiful, I’ll show you the pictures when we get home. I’m so exhausted I just want a nice relaxing bath in the comfort of my home'' I said closing my eyes and sitting comfortably on the seat

''Actually, we are going to my house'' he said focusing on the road, I opened my eyes to look at him questionably

‘‘Look. I went to your apartment for a just guarding it when your land lord came and gave me an immediate eviction notice'' he said looking from me and the road. I stared at him speechlessly, where I am going to go? What am I going to do? .he noticed my expression and spoke up.

'' Don’t worry, don’t stress, you’ll stay with me until you get into your feet, I have an extra room and that house is too big for me alone. He said looking at me and back on the road. I just sighed, I didn’t want to stay with Luke but I didn’t have a choice either. I felt my body tense up from all the stress and a sudden headache. I rubbed my hand across my head and closed my eyes rubbing my forehead

 'Jo don’t worry man, you will get back on your feet in no time'' he said trying to cheer me up and honestly it was not helping

''Nah I just have a headache'' I said groaning with my eyes closed

'' I have some pills, they will have you instantly, and I’ll give you when we get home'' he said and I just nodded. Oh God hope this goes will. I hope everything turns out alright. We got to Lukes house and we walked to the door. I went to the extra room to put my bag .I knew the house like my own because I lived there almost most of the time. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower; I was no longer into the mood to take a long bath. I came back with my pajamas and sat beside him

''Are you hungry? I’ve got something in the oven'' he said to me 

'' I’m actually not hungry'' I said looking around and I wanted to get in bed

''I’ve got news for you, I met someone'' he said excitedly, turning towards me

‘‘Really, man you are fast, I went for a week and you found someone'' I said winking and pretending to be hurt

‘‘Ha-ha, her name is Lucy, she's an accountant'' he said smiling. We continued taking about his new girl and after a while I rubbed my head nursing this ache

‘‘Let me get the pills'' he said standing up and going to the kitchen he came back with the pills and glass of water. I took the pills and we resumed talking. I felt a little dizzy so I told him that I’m going to bed and left to sleep.

I woke up the next afternoon. Afternoon?? I slept through the whole day. I got up and went to take a bath and while bathing my stomach grumbled a lot, I didn’t eat last night so I am super hungry, when I was done taking my bath I went into the kitchen to prepare my meal. Luke was not here so he probably already went to work, I put some frozen kitchen nuggets in the oven to warm up and while warming up I ate a cheese sandwich and speaking to Mark. We talk everyday and we were taking this long distance relationship really well. When the nuggets were done I went to the lounge to eat my nuggets while watching TV. The channels were all boring so I played the movie 'back-up plan' and before the movie ended I was already asleep on the couch.
