I can't believe that I got outsmarted by that fleabag of a lion! This was more serious than I had realized. I need reinforcements.
Caroline's POV
That was so much fun! The Lion Guard surrounded me. " I wonder if there is going to be a new Guard thing," Bunga said. " And you mean?" Ono asked. " You know how there is like the fastest, strongest, keenest of sight, fiercest, and bravest, right?" Bunga asked. " Well there might be a new member of the team, and she needs to be placed!" Bunga said excitedly.
" Placed? Why? She's not even from the Pride Lands!" Fuli argued. " Fuli," Beshte said. " She's an outsider! I don't trust outsiders!" She yowled.
" Maybe if you got to know her, if we all got to know her, then maybe she won't seem to be all that bad!" Ono said. Brother, that is the smartest thing you have ever said, I thought.
" Yah! She's not as bad as you think, Fuli!" Bunga said. Fuli looked away. " Trusting one another is important," I started. " Especially in dark times," I said. " When did you become so wise?" Ono asked.
" Why do you ask?" I mewed, my tail hitting the ground greatly. " You seem to be slightly stupid," Ono stated. I tilted my head. " Well! Looks can be deceiving!" I meowed.
Simba padded over, and gazed at me. " Come!" He ordered. We all followed the great king.
