Chapter seventeen: Restful Afternoon

Caroline's POV
I am now laying on Pride rock with the lion guard, Jasiri, and Simba and Nala. It was very peaceful up here. I really want to take a nap.

I yawned and so did Jasiri. We both laughed. " So, no one to save now," Kion said. " Yah! It's so boring now!" Bunga commented. " Well, as long as Janja is out there, it won't be boring!" Kion assured his friend.

" Forget about Janja and his clan; all we need really right now is peace," Ono said. " So Caroline, tell us about your human life." Nala said. I gazed at her. " Well, I'm more like a cat than a human, so...and I have a brother..." I started, before Kiara interrupted me. She just got here.

" If he is anything like mine, he can be pretty annoying as heck," Kiara said. " Was that just an attempt to insult Kion?" Fuli asked. Kiara nodded, and then we all talked until we went to sleep, until the very next adventure.
